      On your first day, most of the time is free for you to get to Rome.

      You must arrive before 7pm so that way you have time to settle in and go to the meeting point for the first activity.

      Upon arrival, you must go directly to the hotel where the experience begins. Transfer from the airport is not included, so you must arrive on your own. Check-in hours are normally from 3pm.

      You will have the afternoon free to rest or start touring Rome on your own.

      After a little more than 2 hours walk, you will have free time to visit this small town, surrounded by walls of unmistakable medieval aspect.

      It is advisable to visit the famous Basilica of San Francisco, with the masterpieces of Giotto and Cimabue.

      Florence - Sightseeing Tour

      After breakfast, you will visit the wonderful city of Florence, where the Italian genius is manifested in all its splendor and purity.

      The city centre, together with the Belfry, the Baptistery and the Cathedral, constitute an extraordinary group of white, vede and pink marbles, in which the transition from medieval Florentine art to the Renaissance can be seen.

      You will have the visit on foot to the Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore, symbol of the wealth and power of Florence during the S. XIII and XIV.

      You will get to know the Brunelleschi Dome in contrast to the slender silhouette of the Bell Tower designed and begun to build by Giotto.

      You can see the Baptistery, Romanesque construction famous for its bronze Gates (Gates of Paradise, so named by Michelangelo), Piazza della Signoria, the Old Palace, Gothic building of austere appearance, and finally the Church of Santa Croce that opens to one of the oldest squares in the city.

      After breakfast and you will meet the group to leave Bologna, tour of about an hour and a half. Bologna is a city rich in elegant monuments and famous for its 40 kms. of arcades and porticos.

      You will start the tour by Piazza Malpighi, Piazza del Nettuno and Piazza Maggiore, heart of the city, which are lined with beautiful medieval and renaissance monuments.

      These pedestrian squares are the epicenter of urban life, you can find in them the Fountain Neptune, Palazzo Comunale, Palazzo de Re-Enzo and Podestá, and the Basilica of San Petronio which was originally to be larger than the first Basilica of San Pedro in Rome.

      You finish your breakfast and move to San Marco for the panoramic walking tour that includes: Piazza San Marco, the Basilica (interior visit), Doge’s Palace (symbol of the glory and power of Venice, seat of the Dukes, government and court of justice) which joins the Prisoners' Palace through the Bridge of Sighs, where Casanova was imprisoned.

      After breakfast, you will leave with the rest of the group from Piazzale Roma towards the region symbol of the Val di Chiana wines in Tuscany. Area marked by gentle hills, valleys and vineyards.

      Among them stand Romanesque churches and ancient villages. You will visit an authentic town of historical and artistic interest: Montepulciano (approximately 5 hours from Venice).

      Montepulciano is a beautiful medieval enclave known for its "nobile" red wine and international fame, which can be bought in the wineries and locals of the city. For wine and jazz lovers, the Jazz & Wine Festival is held in July.

      You’ll have your lunch in a typical restaurant.

      After a short breakfast, you will meet the group at 7:45/8:00 hrs for the visit of the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel and Saint Peter’s Basilica. With privileged access you can jump the line when you enter.

      The guide will accompany you inside the Museums, which bring together one of the most important art collections in the world. You will admire the wonderful Gallery of Geographical Maps, Tapestries and Raphael’s Rooms, concluding with the fantastic Sistine Chapel and the visit to the monumental Basilica.

      The tour will end at Saint Peter’s Square, where you can move to the place of interest of your choice You will have the rest of the afternoon free to finish knowing Rome at your own pace.

      After a quick breakfast, you will leave with the rest of the group towards the south of Italy, traveling the "Autopista del Sol" passing through the regions of Lazio and Campania.

      After about 2 hours, you will arrive in Naples, where you will have a short panoramic tour climbing the hill Vomero, to enjoy the beautiful views of the Gulf of Naples, with the Vesuvius, Capri, Ischia and Procida, and the city at its feet.

      You will have time to take some pictures and then return to Mergellina.
