We depart Inverness at 8:30am and head West, driving through heart-dropping mountain scenery and along the legendary, world-famous Loch Ness, where you might just catch a glimpse of the almighty monster herself. Crossing The Skye Bridge, we learn about what makes the Isle of Skye so โ€˜mythical and mysterious' and enjoy our legendary guideโ€™s tales as we drive down the stunning Sleat Peninsula. We will don our boots and meet the local crew who will explain what is in store for the coming week โ€“ then itโ€™s time to get our hands dirty! After our first day working in the Tormore Community Forest, we head to the wee Island village of Portree on the Isle of Skye, our island home for the next few nights, where our true Scottish Hospitality will shine. Cosy up by the fire and enjoy a dram with new mates, marvelling on an afternoonโ€™s graft. (Overnight Portree)

After lunch, we go for a scenic walk by the infamous Fairy Pools, a series of crystal-clear waterfalls surrounded by the staggering peaks of the Cuillin Mountains.
