This tour includes:

Accommodation

Three nights twin sharing standard hotel in Kathmandu with breakfast. Accommodation (Tea house and home stay) during the trek.

Transport

Airport / Hotel / Airport pick up & drop off service by private tourist vehicle. Kathmandu to Deurali & Dhulikhel to Kathmandu transportation by Bus.

Others

Trekking permit and necessary paperwork for the trek. Use of sleeping bags, Down Jacket, duffel bag, and walking Poles (if you donโ€™t have your own, to be returned after the trip completed). Government taxes and other official expenses. Oximeter to check your pulse and oxygen saturation and heart rate twice daily (Very useful to check Altitude Mountain Sickness(AMS) symptoms) Which will ensure you trek is in the safest hands possible for all levels of trekker. Assistant guide group size above 4+ people.

Guide

A highly experienced, helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, English-speaking well trained, Government license holder guide with all his salary, food, drinks, accommodation, transport and insurance.

Optional

A Strong, porter to carry your stuff during the trekking (one porter = two trekkers) with all his salary, food, drinks, accommodation, transport, and insurance.

Three meals a day (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner) during the trek.

Lunch and dinner whilst you are in Kathmandu. Nepal entry visa for Nepal (you may easily issue the visa upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International Airport โ€“ Kathmandu). You need 2 passport size photos. Travel and medical insurance (Recommended). International airfare. Your Personal Expenses. All the alcoholic and nonalcoholic cold and hot drinks on trek ( i.e. those you choose to purchase along the way and during evenings in the Tea Houses) All desserts sweet things like chocolate, cake, pie, pudding.   • Day 1 Day 1: Arrival In Kathmandu & Transfer To Hotel.

      A representative from Sherpa Expedition and Trekking will meet you at the airport and take you to your hotel in Thamel where you can relax or wander around the narrow streets to do some last-minute shopping.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Drive From Kathmandu To Mude (2,580M) And Trek To Deurali (2,298M) Duration 6-7 Hours.

      This morning we head out on a 54-kilometer road trip to Mude, situated on next to the Koshi River. We will pass Araniko Rajmarga, Dolalghat, and Khadichau before we arrive at Mude. From here we have a short trek to Deurali.

      This morning we follow a narrow trail to the Sherpa town of Khola Kharka. We expect to arrive at Thulo Sailung (3146m) in time to watch the sunrise over the mountain. and also views of the Mahabharata Ranges and the Sunkoshi River as it winds its way down to the Terai region.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Trek From Kholakharka To Surkey (1,842M) Duration 5-6 Hours.

      Our first destination today is the village of Rajbhir. The trek is mostly downhill as we trek through the Sailung Forest before coming to the Rajveer Monastery with its Lama inhabitants. We continue on and pass through Sherpa and Tamang villages along the way. We may visit the Gompas (Buddhist temples) in both villages. Along the trail, you will often see Gompas, Chortens, Tibetan prayer flags and Mani stones before coming to Surke.

      Today we have an opportunity to watch a Thangmi culture program at Tinghare Village before entering the valley of Doramba. We will stay overnight at a home stay. 

  • Day 6 Day 6: Trek From Dormaba To Khandadevi (1,986M) Duration 5-6 Hours.

      This morning we take the trail to Agleshwari Danda - a Hindu place of worship. Tonight is again at home stay accommodation.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Trek From Khandadevi To Dongme (1,982M) Duration 5-6 Hours.

      From Khandadevi we will climb uphill next to a pine forest to the valley of Dongme. Tonight we will set up camp at Dongme tonight.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Trek From Dongme To Lubughat (818M) Duration 5-6 Hours.

      Today we follow a trail next to the Sunkoshi River before arriving at the Majhi village of Lubughat, where we can quietly observe their way of life and customs. We will stay overnight at a home stay.

  • Day 9 Day 9: Trek From Nepalthok And Drive To Dhulikhel (1,650M) Duration 5-6 Hours.

      Today we cross the river on the Majhi pontoons and over suspension bridges in order to reach our departure point from Nepalthok from where we drive to Dhulikhel. This is predominantly inhabited by the Newari people and its origins are hundreds of years old. We will stay here at home stay accommodation.

       


  • Day 10 Day 10: Drive From Dhulikhel To Kathmandu (1,480M) Duration 1- 2 Hours.

      This morning we will drive back to Kathmandu. After your arrival back at Kathmandu, you may wish to further explore the city and venture to Basantapur and the very old towns of Patan and Bhaktapur. You may also choose to explore the narrow and winding streets around Thamel to do some final shopping before your departure tomorrow.

  • Day 11 Day 11: Final Departure Day.

      Today a representative from Sherpa Expedition and Trekking will take you to the airport three hours prior to your scheduled flight departure. After this culturally enriching experience, you may be thinking about another adventure into the famous Himalayan region.
