      You can spend your day independently today, but if youโ€™d like โ€“ why not join us on some optional activities? You can opt to join us on a trip to Leshan, where youโ€™ll see the worldโ€™s largest stone Buddha. Carved into the side of Mt. Lingyun, the colossal statue is over 1,300-years-old and is considered to the tallest pre-modern statue. The site attracts millions of people every year, including Buddhist pilgrims, making it something of a sacred destination and an ancient wonder of the world. 


      In the evening you can sample the famous Sichuan Hot Pot (if you dare!). After that โ€“ Chengdu is yours to explore!

      In the early afternoon, youโ€™ll bid farewell to Chengdu with a visit to Jinli & Chengdu Peopleโ€™s Park. This park is a treasure trove of scenic spots, including the Gold Water Stream, the Goldfish Island, and the Potted Landscape Garden. Beyond enjoying the picturesque landscape, you can take a boat ride on the artificial lake, savor tea in the lakeside teahouse, and witness various exhibitions and performances on the Rockery Square.

      Later, you can explore the Bell-Drum Towers and the Muslim Quarter to learn about the history of the Silk Road. Make sure to enjoy some local street food while youโ€™re there!

      This morning, youโ€™ll embark on a visit to one of Chinaโ€™s most iconic and unmissable attractions โ€“ the Terracotta Warriors. Located in Xian, the Terracotta Army is an extensive assembly of life-sized terracotta sculptures, organized in battle formations, which replicate the formidable imperial guard troops of Emperor Qin Shi Huang (259 โ€“ 210 BC), the inaugural emperor of Chinaโ€™s first unified dynasty. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is an absolute must-see for all travelers to Xian.


      In the evening, you have the chance to enjoy a mesmerizing music and light fountain show at the North Square of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in the Qujiang District.

      After a satisfying dinner, youโ€™ll engage in your second Mandarin lesson โ€“ a chance to gauge your progress and enhance your grasp of the language.

      If youโ€™re an early riser, you can seize the opportunity to join us on a journey to the world-famous Shaolin Temple โ€“ the very birthplace of kung-fu. While there, you can embark on a hike to the Dharma Cave, a spiritual destination cherished by Buddhist pilgrims. Your ascent will reward you with breathtaking views of local shrines, temples, and incredible vistas across the region.


      Conversely, if martial arts donโ€™t pique your interest, you have the option to explore the Longmen Grottoes, a UNESCO World Heritage Site adorned with 100,000 intricately carved Buddhas!


      Following your morning adventure, you can return for a leisurely late lunch at the guesthouse. Your evening is free for exploration, but keep in mind thereโ€™s an early start awaiting you!

      This morning, weโ€™re early risers, catching a bullet train to our final destination โ€“ Beijing! Arriving in the late morning, we swiftly transfer to one of the tourโ€™s most remarkable experiences โ€“ the Great Wall. Before embarking on our hike, weโ€™ll pause for lunch at a local farm to replenish our energy. In the mid-afternoon, we embark on our trek along the secluded, unrestored sections of the Wall, where weโ€™ll ultimately establish our camp to witness the sunset from one of the Worldโ€™s Wonders.


      Please note: During cold weather conditions before the end of April and after the end of September, we will stay in a guesthouse near the Wall instead of camping.

      In the evening, treat yourself to an entertaining acrobatics show. These spectacular performances showcase young talents recruited from all corners of China. And if your adventure has whet your appetite, now is the perfect moment to savor Beijingโ€™s signature dish โ€“ Peking duck!
