Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, after clearing all customs procedures, please proceed to the exit gate and look for your driver, who will be waiting in the lobby, holding the signboard with your name on it, if you cannot locate your driver, please go to the Airport information counter situated in the middle of Domestic and International arrival lobby (inside the terminal) and call the emergency numbers provided by your travel advisor for assistance. Your driver will come to meet you up and transfer you to the hotel for check-in and free at leisure.

Saigon, with its population of over eight million and four million motorbikes, is a bustling city that never sleeps. Despite its modernity, the city has strong ties to its past, which you can experience by exploring its streets and visiting historical landmarks.

Begin your sightseeing tour on Dong Khoi Street, where you will find beautifully restored French colonial-era buildings from the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Admire the Saigon Opera House and the Notre Dame Cathedral, a red brick structure with twin spires built from materials imported from France (entrance is only permitted when no services are being performed). Walk across the square to see the Central Post Office, built in 1891. A short drive away is the former Presidential Palace, which was the residence of the Saigon Government during the American War. Continue to the City Hall (formerly the Hotel de Ville), a stunning colonial monument. Take a break for coffee to experience Saigon’s famous street coffee culture while your guide shares insights into daily life in Saigon.

Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the War Remnants Museum to gain a vivid perspective of the American War through the eyes of the Vietnamese (note that some displays may contain sensitive content). Afterwards, explore a different part of Saigon and drive to Chinatown. Visit the Thien Hau Pagoda, built by the Cantonese community in the early 19th century to honor the Goddess of the Sea. Write a wish on a small card and attach it to one of the incense coils according to local custom. Continue to FITO, the first museum of traditional medicine in Vietnam, to learn about the history and application of traditional medicine in everyday life before returning to your hotel.

After enjoying a scrumptious breakfast at the hotel, meet your guide at the lobby for an exciting adventure exploring the Mekong Delta’s waterways and lush gardens. Drive 1.5 hours to Ben Tre, located in the Mekong River Delta, and embark on a captivating motorboat ride to Cai Be floating market, where you’ll witness locals selling their fresh fruits and vegetables directly from their boats. Glide through small canals on a rowing boat, and enjoy the serene countryside ambiance.

Hop back on the motorboat and cruise along the Mekong River, observing local farmers and fishermen’s daily activities. Arrive at An Bình Island, where you’ll indulge in a delicious Vietnamese lunch at a local homestay.

In the afternoon, take a leisurely walk through the orchards, listen to live traditional Vietnamese music, and visit the local workshops to see the making of rice paper, coconut candies, and pop-rice. Additionally, you can join a cycling trip through the village roads to witness the daily life of locals at the orchard, school, church, pagoda, and traditional houses. Visit the brick kilns to see the making of beautiful clay pottery before concluding your cruise in Vinh Long city, from where you’ll return to Saigon by private car.

You have a day at leisure to discover the enchanting town of Hoi An at your own pace. One of the best ways to explore this captivating town is to rent a bicycle from the hotel and cycle towards the beach or riverside. Along the beach, there are plenty of small cafes where you can relax with a fresh fruit drink after taking a swim in the warm and calm sea. If you’re interested, you could also visit a tailor shop to have custom-made clothes, bags, or shoes created for you and your loved ones overnight.

In the evening, we highly recommend taking a stroll through the Old Town area, where the shops adorn the streets with lanterns that light up the town, creating a magical atmosphere that is straight out of a fairytale. And don’t forget to enjoy the colorful performances that take place on the streets in the evenings.

Cycling In Cam Thanh Village And Visit Thanh Dong Organic Farm (B/L)

After having a delicious breakfast at the hotel, it’s time to explore the countryside. You will be driven to Vong Nhi village in the morning, where you can rent a bike and cycle through the village, enjoying the scenic views of green coconut forests, prawn and red snapper farms, and beautiful rice fields along the way (approximately 6 km).

Your destination is the Thanh Dong organic farm, a 10,000 sqm garden that provides fresh organic goods to support 10 local families. Here, you can walk around the vegetable garden and listen to the inspiring story of the farmers about how they have embraced organic farming. Afterward, you can join the farmers in their gardening activities, such as preparing and applying organic manure, raking the ground, sowing herb seeds, watering, or picking vegetables.

Bid farewell to the farmers and hop on a unique Vietnamese basket boat along the Do River to The Field Restaurant. Along the way, take in the beautiful scenery and observe the local countryside life. Participate in a short cooking class to prepare a Vietnamese family-style lunch, and enjoy the meal you cooked before returning to your hotel.
