Flights

Flights arrival Tan San Nhat International Airport (SGN), Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam anytime on date 1 (seft arrangement). Flights out from Hanoi International Airport (HAN) can be made anytime on date 11 (seft arrangement).

Guide

The tour is base on French speaking guide with licence. The tour will have the support of English speaking tour leader when English speaking tourists join the tour.

  • Day 1 Ho Chi Minh City Arrival

      Welcome to Vietnam Cultural Tour. We will pick you up at the airport, then transfer to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh City. You can come to Vietnam in any flight schedule on date 1. The hotel check in time is 14:00, you can book the extra early check in or leave your luggage at the hotel then visiting around the city at your own schedule.

      Today we will have welcome dinner. Our tour leader will introduce all members in our group and looking for a great time travel together.

  • Day 2 Ho Chi Minh City / Mekong Delta / Ho Chi Minh City

      Breakfast at the hotel.

      Departure for the Mekong Delta, a vast network of thousands of canals characterizes life in the Mekong Delta which extends over 40,000 km². Arrival in My Tho, visit to a Caodaist temple. Boarding for a cruise in the Mekong Delta. Arrival on an island, tasting of seasonal fruits which are harvested in the orchards. Visit to a coconut candy factory. Tuk Tuk ride to the local village. Ride aboard small boats in the middle of a palm forest for a guaranteed change of scenery. 

      Lunch of the region’s specialty: Elephant’s Ear fish. 

      Afternoon return to Ho Chi Minh City. Visit to Chinatown with the Thien Hau temple.

  • Day 3 Ho Chi Minh City / Flight To Da Nang / Hoi An

      Morning guided tour of the economic capital of Vietnam, formerly Saigon and renamed Ho Chi Minh in 1976. Visit the old colonial districts, the Central Post Office, the exterior of the Reunification Palace and Notre Dame Cathedral. Then the Saigon Opera, the Ben Thanh market.

      Lunch at local restaurant.

      Transfers to Ho Chi Minh Airport for a short local flight to Da Nang, central of Vietnam.

      Afternoon arrival Da Nang, transfer to Hoi An, a small town listed as a UNESCO world heritage site. 

      Dinner at local restaurant.

      Free evening to enjoy the old town of Hoi An, very lively with lanterns.

  • Day 4 Hoi An

      Enjoy walking tour to in the ancient town of Hoi An, during your visit to Hoi An you will note the perfect state of conservation of a large number of houses including the famous Tan Ky house at No. 101 Nguyen Thai Hoc Street. Visit the old districts of the city: the Fujian Assembly Hall, the Phuc Thanh Pagoda and the old wooden Japanese bridge. 

      Lunch at local restaurant.

      Afternoon enjoy guided tour of the Tra Que agricultural village which supplies vegetables for the entire city and surrounding areas, visiting the rice fields at the countryside area of Hoi An. Back to the hotel. Enjoy the beach or swimming pool. 

      Free dinner, dinner at your own arrangement in Hoi An.

  • Day 5 Hoi An / Hai Van Pass / Hue

      Departure towards Da Nang. Visit the village of stone sculptors to appreciate the skill of the artisans. Orientation tour of the Da Nang city: My Khe beach, Dragon bridge.

      Transfer to Hue via the famous Hai Van Pass from where you will have a beautiful view of the Lang Co peninsula. 

      Lunch on arrival of Hue. Boat trip on the Perfume River to the Pagoda of the Heavenly Lady, whose octagonal tower is recognizable from afar.

  • Day 6 Hue / Night Train To Ninh Binh

      Guided tour of the Imperial City, classified as a world heritage site by UNESCO.

      Lunch at local restaurant.

      Afternoon visit the lagoon of Hue; a boat excursion allows you to immerse yourself in still intact nature and contemplate the poetic beauty of this place in complete tranquility.

      Dinner at the hotel restaurant. It is suggested you take a shower and change clothes before leaving to the station for the night train.

      Transfer to the station for the night train to Ninh Binh. 

      Overnight on train with Deluxe cabin 04 air-conditioned berths. A private cabin is available to book in advance with an extra. 

  • Day 7 Ninh Binh

      Breakfast on board the train, enjoy the landscape of the Red River Delta in Northern Vietnam. 

      Arrival mid-morning in Ninh Binh Welcome and transfer to your hotel. 

      Lunch with tasting of goat skewers, local specialty. Afternoon road to the magnificent site of Hoa Lu, also called the “Ha long in Land”. The karst relief is reminiscent of the famous “Dragon Bay” with numerous limestone hills covered with lush vegetation. Boarding small traditional sampans for a peaceful ride to Thung Nham, with its still wild and deserted landscapes, surrounded by rice fields, natural caves and limestone peaks. At the end of the day, for those who wish, you will enjoy a bike ride to discover the surrounding villages.

  • Day 8 Ninh Binh / Ha Long Bay

      Early departure by road for Ha Long. Arrival Ha Long around noon. Embark on a boat cruise in the bay in this magical place, through the famous karst, more than 3000 islands and islets emerging from the emerald, green water of the Gulf of Tonkin. The site has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994. 

      Lunch will be served on board in Ha Long Bay. 

      Stopover in one of the natural caves. Return to the land.

  • Day 9 Ha Long Bay / Hanoi

      Free morning for rest or stroll in the town of Ha Long. 

      After lunch, drive to Hanoi, with a stop at Dong Trieu village, known for its ceramic artisan workshops. Transfer to Hanoi, a veritable museum of colonial architecture on the banks of the Red River. Capital of unified Vietnam, Hanoi has retained the old-fashioned charm of the French colonial era. The modernization of the city, undertaken by the French from 1882, continued until 1955 and the face of Hanoi today has not changed much.

      Visit the exterior of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, his former residence, the One Pillar Pagoda. Then visit the Temple of Literature, 1st University of Vietnam.

      Cycle rickshaw ride, an original and relaxing way to explore Hanoi, its lakes, its old quarter and its colonial residences. Discovery of Hoan Kiem Lake located in the heart of the old town and stroll through the lively shopping streets of Hanoi. Visit the Jade Temple, located on Hoan Kiem Lake. A little free time for a personal discovery of the old shopping district of Hanoi.
