Pashupatinath is the most significant Hindu shrine in the world, and the temple itself is the biggest Hindu temple of Lord Shiva, located on the banks of the Bagmati River. Almost every Hindu pilgrim wants to bow their head in front of the Pashupatinath temple at least once in their lifetime. The main attractions around the Pashupatinath are the cremation sites, nearby jungle, river, and surroundings.

The temple is even listed as the UNESCO world heritage site. Many devotees, including national and international celebrities and delegates, have visited the Pashupatinath temple. After exploring the Pashupatinath temple, we head towards Sanga, nearby Bhaktapur, to visit Kailashnath Mahadev. And it is the worldโ€™s tallest Shiva statue standing at 143 feet height. Today after breakfast, we will leave for Dakshinkali temple, the well-known temple of goddesses Kali, believed to be the most powerful Hindu goddess, with many blessings to offer. Located 22 kilometers south of Kathmandu valley, we will drive through beautiful forested lands, valleys, rivers, and settlements in our private vehicles.

The temple was built in the Malla regime in Kathmandu when the goddess Kali appeared in the dream of the King, and he ordered the construction of the temple. Every Saturday and during the Dashain festival, many Hindu pilgrims from all over visit the temple with great belief.

Animals like male goats and cockerels are sacrificed in large numbers in the name of goddesses. Narayanthan temple, also known as Budhanilkantha temple, is the holy temple of Lord Vishnu situated on the northern side of Kathmandu. After a short drive towards the base of Shivapuri hill, we arrive at Budhanilkantha temple, where we can worship the sleeping statue of Lord Narayan(Vishnu), which is 5 meters long in a small pond.

Majorly the Hindu pilgrim crowd can be seen during the Chaturmasya festival in October/November, when it is believed that Lord Vishnu wakes up from his sleep. After visiting the important Hindu pilgrimage sites, we return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
