The tour guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel lobby and then drive to the local restaurant to taste Hanoi's street food. Enjoy "Pho" - one of the traditional Vietnamese dishes, visit Tran Quoc Pagoda and Quan Thanh Temple. Afterwards, the tour guide will take you back to the hotel. Experience today the vibrant metropolis of Hanoi, which impresses with magnificent colonial buildings and pagodas. In the morning you will visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the former residence of the legendary politician, where he lived from 1958 to 1969. Afterwards you will visit the most important literary temple of Vietnam as well as the legendary Chua Mot Cot, also called the "One Pillar Pagoda". You will take a drive around the beautiful HoanKiem Lake and visit the so-called "Jade Mountain Temple", the Ngoc Son Temple. Then take a one-hour rickshaw ride through Hanoi's Old Quarter, one of the most beautiful in Asia. A performance of the water puppet theater completes this day

On the new trunk road, along the rice fields of the Red River Delta, you will travel to the famous Halong Bay, known for its emerald green waters and thousands of limestone islands covered by rainforest. Your boat trip on a junk will take you through a mystical island world. Lunch and dinner with specialties fresh from the sea. Overnight stay on board the junk.
