During summer, the weather is warm and the temperature may rise to 30 °C. It can get humid and might rain.

No; however, we suggest having the routine vaccinations such as diphtheria and chicken pox, among others. Check this out with your doctor.

You will get assistance according to the degree of your injury; remember you have to get a travel insurance that covers medical bills and trip cancellations.

The currency is the Canadian Dollar (CAD). You can exchange at your country of origin, the airport or big cities in Canada such as Toronto.

There are usually between twelve and fifteen people on each trip at any time. We allow a maximum of 18 people on our road-trips.

There are lots of solo travelers as well as small groups of friends (one to three). It&#x27;s the perfect trip to make friends

What’s the minimum and maximum age required? Is the price the same for underaged

The minimum recommended age for this experience is 5 years, and the maximum age is 70 years because:
Minimum age: Long distances are covered, and it is necessary to follow a group schedule and itinerary.
Maximum age: Travelers must be able to get on and off a 56-passenger bus. Check specific rates for minors in the extras section.

NOTES:
1.- Infants (0-1.9 years) will travel on their parents&#x27; laps on the bus. Just like on an airplane, they will not have a reserved seat.
2.-To avoid additional charges, parents can bring a foldable travel crib. Please note that cribs are not available in all hotels. In hotels that offer them, they are subject to availability and may incur an extra cost.
3.- We recommend traveling with a foldable stroller, which can be placed with the luggage in the compartment below the bus.

You can book additional nights at the accommodations mentioned in itinerary on your arrival, and you can ask your guide for suggestions on where to book additional nights in Toronto.

If meals are not included, what’s the average price of each meal?

Accepted Answer

It depends on where you want to buy your food, you can find options from $3 CAD (packaged ramen) to $25 CAD (restaurant). We suggest buying your supplies at groceries, this costs around $15 CAD per day.

What’s the voltage there? Do I need an adaptor and/or converter?

Accepted Answer

The voltage is 120 V; you don&#x27;t need an adaptor or converter if your devices are from Mexico.

Will I be able to charge my electronic devices?

You may charge them at the hostels, but we suggest bringing extra batteries or portable batteries to charge your devices at any moment.

What&#x27;s the arrival schedule for day 1?

You can arrive anytime during the day - the tour representative intros the travelers to the guide so you can arrange a time to meet the group when back from a day-trip.
We just recommend arriving before 6pm.

In what physical condition should I be to go on this adventure?

Accepted Answer

You don&#x27;t have to be a marathon runner, professional rock climber, wilderness expert or anything of that sort. If you have general fitness you&#x27;ll great time. Our trips are flexible and provide variety.

Do I need a travel insurance? What should the insurance cover?

Yes, it should cover medical bills, flight delays, trip cancellation, etc.

What clothes and/or gear should I take with me?

Accepted Answer

As a general rule, bring clothing that can be layered. For hikes and other active activities avoid wearing cotton (it absorbs water, get’s heavy and keeps you cold). Don&#x27;t forget to bring a rain jacket. There are some things you might need to bring such as torch/headlamp. Depending on the season/trip, there are a few occasions that you will require a sleeping bag. For trips that require it we will advise you in your welcome email.

How big and what type of luggage should I bring?

We HIGHLY recommend bringing backpack style luggage, because it is easier to carry and more flexible. You will be able to get by with a suitcase if preferred, but it will not be ideal at times - especially camping situations.

Where can I get the visa?

Accepted Answer

If you are Mexican, since December 2016 you do not need a visa to enter Canada as a tourist. However, you must process an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). If you have already processed visa and it is still valid, you can use it until it expires.

Is there Wifi and/or Internet and cellphone coverage?

Accepted Answer

You will have wifi at some hostels, some places charge a few $ for the password. The phone coverage is usually good in the cities. However, you might not get good coverage during the hikes in national parks or at campsites and there is no wifi there.

At what time is the check in and check out of any accommodation?

The check in is usually after 2 or 3 pm, this may vary from one place to another. If you get there before this schedule, we suggest leaving your luggage at reception and walking around the area until your room is ready. Check out is usually at 12 pm, but this also may vary from one place to another. We suggest asking for this information on arrival at the accommodation. It is important to follow this schedule; otherwise, additional charges may apply (to be paid on destination, not included).

Meals may vary according to one accommodation to another. However, they are usually basic meals.
