Antigua is not only one of the most charming cities in Guatemala, but also listed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. First, visit the landmark San Francisco Church. Then, go to the street covered with cobblestones to visit the Arch of Santa Catalina. After that, move on to Casa Santo Domingo, a magnificent 5-star hotel that was once a monastery and now houses a series of unique museums. Finally, you will go to Plaza Central Park, where you may have lunch at your own cost. Drive to Chichicastenango. Walking through the narrow streets of the town. Visit the Church of Santo Tomas and Calvary Church. Next, drive 1.5 hours to Panagochel, an ancient town on the northeast shore of Lake Atitlan. There, the guide will accompany you to walk along Santander Street, visit handicraft stalls, shops and restaurants, and get to know the daily life of the local dwellers. After, enjoy the beautiful views of Lago de Atitlan on the Panajachel coast and finally head to the hotel in the town of Panajachel for overnight stay.
