  • Day 1 Day 1: Arrived Kathmandu

      Day 1: Arrived Kathmandu

      This is the first day of trip that starts on the day you arrive to Kathmandu. Himalaya Heart representative will be at the airport to welcome you on your arrival day. Our representative will take you to the hotel that you will be staying tonight. Later, in the evening, we will meet to talk about the trip details. You will have time to freshen up, relax and adjust in new atmosphere until we meet up. We will introduce your trekking guide who will be looking after you on your adventure.


      You will have to prepare all the necessary things for the trek tonight as we are flying to Lukla tomorrow morning

      We get ready for our early morning flight to Lukla. We will tell you the departure time on your arrival day. The short but spectacularly beautiful flight takes us to Lukla airstrip that lets us in to the Everest region. As we land at Lukla airport, beautiful snow-capped mountains will welcome us.


      We set off for the first day of our trekking adventure. The walk today is short and easy compared to what we are expecting in the days to come during the adventure. We are walking to Phakding today along the Dudh Koshi River Valley. Pristine nature, peaceful mountain ambience and beautiful mountain views welcome us in the wonderful Everest region. We stay overnight today at Phakding

      The second day of walk takes us into the Sagarmatha National Park. After enjoying our first breakfast in the mountain, we start the walking adventure for the day. We will trek to Namche Bazar today. Entering national park at Monjo check point, we trace the trail that leads us to our destination. We will past beautiful places and cross several hanging bridges over the river. We eventually reach Namche Bazar to stay overnight.


      The beautiful settlement of Namche on the mountain slope will welcome us with its unique Everest charm. Checking into a guest house and relaxing at the peaceful atmosphere of Namche can be as rewarding as anything.

      As we have already reached the elevation over 3,000 meters above sea level, we will need to take an extra day here at Namche to acclimatize. This acclimatization day at Namche will show us its wonderful surroundings. We can go for a hike to a nearby destination. The afternoon will be at Namche Bazar exploring the village

      The walk from today onwards leaves the Everest Base Camp trekking trail and heads towards the Gokyo valley. We will trek to Dole through a peaceful trail and surroundings of nature and mountains. We will meet fewer trekkers in the region than on the Everest Base Camp trail. Dole is a small settlement with beautiful surroundings of the beautiful mountains and nature.

      We will trek to Machhermo today for overnight stay. Another day of peaceful nature walking takes us the destination that is a small settlement of teahouses for the trekkers in the region. Macchermo also provides picturesque views of the surroundings. It is a short walking day so we reach early to Machhermo to enjoy its wonderful surroundings.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Trek To Gokyo (4,790M) It Will Take 5 Hours

      Our trek for the day today will take us to our ultimate destination of the trip โ€“ to Gokyo valley. The walk will take us past serene mountain wilderness where we pass through 1st and 2nd lakes of 5 Gokyo lakes in the region. Eventually, we reach the beautiful 3rd Lake in the Gokyo valley to stay overnight. We will be surrounded by wonderful mountain vistas while in the region.

      We take an early morning hike to Gokyo Ri to enjoy the view of mountain ranges and the lakes. Although the hike is a difficult and challenging endeavor, it is a rewarding feeling to be on top of the Gokyo Ri. We will be standing at the elevation of 5360meters above sea level enjoying the view of the mountains and the lakes below.


      We hike back to Gokyo Having food and trek down to dole

      We are already on the last day of trek in the mountains. The walk to day will take us to Lukla where we finish our trekking adventure. Our beautiful trekking adventure to the Gokyo Valley comes to an ending leaving us with wonderful memories to cherish.

      Day 11: Fly To Kathmandu

      The flight back to Kathmandu will take us away from the magnificence of the Everest region today. Once we reach Kathmandu, we will have plenty of free time to wander around and relax. Enjoy the city after so much of peaceful days in the mountains.
