Day 1: Abidjan - Abengourou

Stop At: Abengourou, Abengourou, Moyen-Comoe Region
This morning, drive 3 hours to Abengourou. Visit cocoa plantation and learn the process with the farmers: how to harvest, to get the cocoa fermented and drying the beans. Stop at the fetish school, experience their dance performance and learn how the students are selected to be at that mystic school. Afternoon, we discover the rich culture and Akan traditions by visiting the King’s palace with the guide of the palace.

Day 2: Abengourou – Bouaké

Stop At: Bouake, Bouake, Vallee du Bandama Region
Departure to Bouaké, visit villages on the way, like Tanou Sakassou a village specialised in pottery. Their fascinating work will be our interests. On arrival in Bouaké, embark on a short sightseeing tour of the city centre. Enjoy the swimming pool before dinner.

Day 3: Bouaké – Yamoussoukro

Stop At: Yamoussoukro, Yamoussoukro, Lacs Region
Departure around 8.30 to Yamoussoukro. Stop at Bomizambo, weaver’s village. Experience the Goli mask dance.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Basilica of Our Lady of Peace, Rue de St.France, Yamoussoukro Ivory Coast
Proceed to Yamoussoukro, lunch at the lake side restaurant. Visit that famous Basilica with its 7000 square meters of stain glasses, the highest in the world.

Day 4: Yamoussoukro – Bouaflé – Yamoussoukro

Stop At: Bouafle, Bouafle, Marahoue Region
Breakfast and drive to Bouaflé, on arrival, way to the village to discover the Zaouli dance performance.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Palais Presidentiel, Avenue Houphouet Boigny, Yamoussoukro Ivory Coast
Visit the colourful market and lunch a local maquis restaurant. Back to Yamoussoukro, visit the lake of sacred crocodiles in front of our late president palace.

Day 5: Abidjan – Domaine Bini

Stop At: Domaine Bini Lagune, Cocody Riviera, Ephrata Road, Abidjan Ivory Coast
Early departure to Abidjan via Bini, trekking in the forest and visit plantations. Local dishes and palm wine will be another experience. We leave Bini Camp around 4.30 to Abidjan check in at your hotel.

Day 6: Abidjan – Grand Bassam

Stop At: CAVA - Centre Artisanal de la Ville, Treichville Coin - Rue Du Canal, Abidjan Ivory Coast

Drive to the ancient capital city of Grand Bassam with its historical sites; the museum, the first Roman catholic church, old post office and monuments, lunch at a seaside restaurant.
