      Today, you have the exciting opportunity to ascend the Pichincha Volcanoโ€™s eastern face via a cable car ride from Quito. Once youโ€™ve reached the top station on 13,124 ft/4,000 m, spend some time capturing breathtaking views and photos of the cityscape, the surrounding volcanoes that can be seen on a clear day, and Pichinchaโ€™s two peaks: the Guagua Pichincha and the Rucu Pichincha. You can also take a stroll through the pรกramo, the high-altitude ecosystem, following a well-marked trail, and trek as far as your heart desires. Then return to the cable car station for a scenic descent back to Quito.
