As we climb to higher altitudes you will notice how the flora has turned to classic โ€˜cloud forestโ€™ with moss and lichen, tree ferns, and orchids hosted by the larger trees. There are openings in the woods that look out onto the breathtaking panorama, as well as close up views of sacred Mt. Machapuchare, Mardi Himal, and other Annapurna peaks.

We then follow the trail along the bank of the Mardi Khola and cross a number of suspension bridges along the trail. This countryside is lush green and highly productive for the local villagers. After lunch, we head back to Pokhara. After arriving back at Pokhara you may wish to visit Mahendra Cave (limestone 152m in length) and Davidโ€™s Falls.
