Later we will travel on to Patara, most people know of the famous beach with the same name which is located nearby as its the longest sandy beach at 18 kilometres in Turkey, However. the Ancient City of Patara was built in the 8th century BC it was a large city and had a  busy maritime trade centre for the region. There is still so much to uncover her in these extensive ruins and throughout certain times of the year have ongoing excavation.

The ruins here are well preserved and ample, from the aqueduct to the agora to the main street with clearly recognisable shops.

Ulupinar is a charming village not far from Phaselis, its restaurants are lined along the waterโ€™s edge, we will have lunch here before travellingto the Tahtali Mountains where you will ride a cablecar  to 2365 meters above sea level the views over Antalya are manificent.
