Day 2: Tour to Tbilisi
Stop At: Narikala Fortress, Tbilisi Georgia
09/05/2020 Tour to Tbilisi - visit the festival of young wine
After breakfast we will visit the old part of the city - Narikala.
The fortress complex in Old Tbilisi has a perfect panorama of Tbilisi.
We will visit the Sameba Cathedral - built in our time and being the main cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church. Also, we will visit Metekhi (XIII century), Anchiskhati (VI century), Sioni (XII century).
We will visit the famous sulfur baths in Abanotubani. We will walk along the streets of Chardin and Leselidze with numerous restaurants, cafes, boutiques and salons.
You are waiting for different surprises, traditional Georgian dances and music, a festival of wine with different wines and traditional snacks. Also deferent performances.

Mtskheta is the second Jerusalem, the oldest city in which the royal throne once was.
We will visit:
The monastery of Jvari (V in) is one of the oldest Georgian monasteries, built in the VI century, just when the Georgian people began to accept Christianity. Jvari or the Temple of the Cross is one of the most remarkable achievements of the ancient Georgian architecture, perceived as an immortal symbol of the people's genius. Jvari is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Svetitskhoveli Cathedral (11th c). This is a holy place for every Orthodox. In this cathedral is stored the chiton of Jesus Christ, in which he was crucified.
Return to Tbilisi.
In the evening we will go to the one of the best traditional restaurants in Tbilisi. In the restaurant, tourists can enjoy incomparable Georgian dishes, delicious Georgian wine and the strongest chacha to the accompaniment of Georgian traditional songs.
