  • Day 6 Safaris In Chitwan National Park
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Safaris In Chitwan National Park

Itโ€™s safari time! Today is jam-packed full of jungle activities to get the most out of your time here at Chitwan.

Youโ€™ll first embark on a jungle walking tour through the forests to set your sights on the elephants and rhinos here in Chitwan. Since it doesnโ€™t disturb the animals, on a walking safari you usually have a better chance of some up-close animal encounters. You will be accompanied by a naturalist guide that will brief you on the plants and animals you can expect to see.

After your walking safari, weโ€™ll head out on a traditional dugout canoe. Floating down the river with its banks lined with crocodiles is a relaxing yet intriguing experience! You may also see elephants taking a bathe in the river and many other aquatic wildlife species. Afterwards, weโ€™ll return to our accommodations for lunch.

Once your safari adventures are done for day you have free time to explore Chitwan. You may like to stroll around this quiet jungle village, get the know the locals over a beer at the local bar, or watch a traditional cultural show. When the day comes to a close, weโ€™ll serve dinner back at your accommodation before resting for a big journey back to Kathmandu tomorrow.
