      Today you’ll explore the Sacred Valley in private transport with your bilingual guide, trekking and exploring at your own pace. Visit ancient incan sites in Pisac, Moray & Ollantaytambo.

      Early morning start (4.30 am – 5 am) to beat the crowds, bus to Machu Picchu Citadel. Morning tour of Machu Picchu with your guide.

      Head back down from Machu Picchu around midday, lunch, Hot Springs, and then take the train back to Cusco.

      Private transport for transfer to the Ausangate region. Taking a 3-hour drive from Cusco to Pacchanta, in private transport, stopping off along the way at Urcos for breakfast.

      Arriving in Pacchanta early afternoon. Check into Lodge, the rest of the afternoon is free to explore.

  • Day 7 Pacchanta - Siete Lagunas - Upis

      Pacchanta - Siete Lagunas - Upis

      Trek: Las Siete Lagunas (Lunch). Explore and trek around the stunning lakes of Ausangate, enshrined in legend & spirituality these lakes have healing qualities that inspire many to visit.­ 

      From the Siete Lagunas, you’ll trek for a few more hours before arriving in the small mountain town of Upis.

  • Day 8 Upis - Arapa Pass - Pukaccasa Pass - Anantapata

      Leaving Upis, you’ll trek for 8-9 hours today. Trekking past the Lagunas Azulcocha, Pûkacocha, and Red Mountain (4900m) with Ausangate Nevado always present in the background. Today is a hard but rewarding trek day, accompànied by Alpacas & Llamas!

  • Day 9 Anantapata - Cierro De Colores (Rainbow Mountain) - Cusco - Puno

      Anantapata - Cierro De Colores (Rainbow Mountain) - Cusco - Puno

      After breakfast, we take the trail to another mountain pass. Striations of color are embedded in the hillsides. This area is called ‘Montana Arco iris’ by the locals, and is often referred to as ‘Rainbow Mountain’.

      Trekking to the summit, the spectacular colors make for amazing photography, and then taking lunch here in this unique landscape. After descending, your transport will be waiting for you to take you back to Cusco.

  • Day 10 Puno - Lake Titicaca - Amantani Isla

      Puno - Lake Titicaca - Amantani Isla

      Leaving from Puno port; we board the boat that will take us to our first point of visit which will be the Island of the Uros. The Uros are ancestral people descendants of the Aymara who inhabited artificial floating islands from the pre-Inca and Inca ages.

      ­ 

      A large part of their homes is made of cattails, which is an aquatic plant that surrounds a large part of this island. The Uros were dedicated to hunting birds, fish, egg collection, and lesser extent agriculture as economic activities, nowadays one of the main activities is tourism which makes this ancestral town revalued and does not disappear in the weather.

      After Uros Island visit, we will continue our boat trip for 2 hours until we reach Amantani Island. Amantani is one of the most important islands within Titicaca Lake; here we will have our typical lunch at the house of one of the families that do experiential tourism.

      In the afternoon, you’ll have a walk to Pachatata or Pachamama, They are 2 beautiful mountains from where we can see one of the most beautiful sunsets on the planet, after this walk returning to our place of overnight that will be in one of the traditional houses of one of the families of Amantani Island.

  • Day 11 Amantani Isla - Taquile Isla - Puno - Lima

      Amantani Isla - Taquile Isla - Puno - Lima

      In the morning, you’ll have breakfast with the Amantani family, and then saying goodbye, board the boat that will take us from Amantani Island to Taquile Island. On this island, you can find picturesque roads, traditional houses, and beautiful viewpoints of Lake Titicaca; here you’ll have the opportunity to appreciate beautiful works in fabrics made by local artisans.

      In Taquile, you’ll have lunch and also a demonstration of the use of natural plants for dyeing Alpaca fiber. After this visit, boarding the boat that will take us back to the city of Puno.


      From Puno, you’ll transfer to Juliaca Airport, for your connecting flight back to Lima.
