The Snocoach is a bus that takes you to the Athabasca glacier. It has big, big tires so you can drive on the ice. You have time to get off the bus on the glacier to take some pictures or to fill your water bottle with real glacier water.

Not necessarily, do not worry you will stay in very comfortable hotels, with incredible views, where you will be provided with sheets, towels and everything you need to spend a comfortable night.

We will swim to one of the lakes in the Rockies. If you want to join this polar bear swim, bring your swimsuit! -----------------------------------------------

It usually takes approximately 8 hours to enter the Rockies area. However, we will make a stop every 2 hours to stretch the legs and for a quick rest in the bathroom.

We stop at places where you can find all kinds of places to buy food like supermarkets, coffee shops, restaurants and food courtyards. ------------------------------------

They are always small groups of travelers with a very good atmosphere. It can be up to 30 people, but generally they are 12 or less people. The guides will give to you the best and personal attention.

Departing time vary from tour to tour. You should arrive 15 minutes prior to the departure time. It takes up to 10 hours to the first hotel (because we stop every 2 hours on the way).

Any time is a good time. It will depend on what you are looking for. If you want to see beautiful blue lakes - From end of June to end of September. If you want to see snow and orange leaved trees, but still blue lakes - October. If you don't mind the cold and want to see how amazing the Rockies look full of snow and go skiing - December - March.

During Summer (end of June till end of September) very hot and dry, most of times. This Summer was an odd one, but forest fires are most likely to happen around August/September and this can have a negative impact to the experience. Alberta is famous for its extreme temperatures, therefore, during Summer you can experience temperature as high as 34 degrees C and during the Winter as low as -40 degrees C.
