We follow the trail that climbs the top of a ridge offering a panorama of Thamserku, KusumKangrib and Kantega. After walking around a branch ridge, the views of AmaDablam, Lhotse, Everest, Tawetse and Nuptse suddenly become unveils. We then start descending and come to the crossroad with one way leading to Gokyo valley. Walking through the village of Trashinga, we soon reach the DudhKoshi River. The first half of the climb to Tyangboche is strenuous, however, eases off as the trail approaches forested area. With splendid views in the backdrop, the climb along the mountainside leads to a stone gate that marks the entrance to Tyangboche. The sunset falling on Everest and AmaDablam makes for an outstanding view. Tyangboche gives one of the best panoramic views of the snow giants.
