All the alcoholic and nonalcoholic cold and hot drinks on trek ( i.e. those you choose to purchase along the way and during evenings in the Tea Houses) All desserts sweet things like chocolate, cake, pie, pudding. Hot shower and battery charging on the tea houses. Tips for the guide, porter, and driver (Tipping is expected) Excess baggage more than 10 kg for Lukla flight. Please be advised that if you need to return early from the trek due to reasons such as sickness, unfavorable weather conditions, personal issues, itinerary modifications, or any other unforeseen circumstances, the following conditions apply: - Any payments made for flights, hotel accommodations, mountain room bookings, meals, and related expenses are nonrefundable. - You will be required to cover the costs of hotel stays, meals, and other expenses in Kathmandu independently. Additionally, please note that during the months of March to May and September to November, all flights will depart from Ramechhap. It will be necessary for you to make a 4-5 hour drive from Kathmandu to Ramechhap in order to catch your flight. Kindly consider these terms and arrangements carefully before commencing your trek.       A representative from Sherpa Expedition and Trekking staff will meet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and take you to your hotel. In the evening we will have a pre-trek meeting in our office and introduce you to your guide. For the meeting, please make sure you bring your passport, three passport-size photos and a readable copy of your travel insurance policy. During this meeting, you will clear the balance owing on the trek.

      Our adventure begins after arriving at Tenzing Hillary Airport at Lukla and then we trek to Phakding.  Our trek takes us through Chaurikharka Village before heading down to Dudh Koshi Ghat (2,530m/8,300ft) then on to Phakding. At Phakding we will visit Rimishung Monastery.

      Today we follow the trail through the valley with the Dudh Kosi River at our side. On several occasions, you cross the Dudh Kosi River on suspension bridges before having to climb higher until we reach the small village of Jorsale in the Khumbu region โ€“ just south of Namche Bazaar. After a two hour trek, we will reach Namche Bazaar. On the trail, we have some charming views of Mt. Everest (Sagamartha in Nepali). We enter the Sagarmatha National Park at Jorsale where authorities will check your trekking permit. After another 5 or 6 hours of fairly hard going, we arrive at Namche Bazaar.

      Acclimatization is really important for your safety before heading to higher elevations. It is recommended that you stay active during the day, so we will go for a dayโ€™s trek through the towns of Khunde and Khumjung, taking in the stunning views of Everest, before returning to Namche.  At Namche, you may decide to view what is supposed to be a Yeti skull!  Besides Everest, you can, weather permitting, also see Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and numerous other snow-capped peaks. After breakfast, we will trek to the Syangboche airstrip (3790m), from where we ascend towards Khunde, along the trail pass numerous Chorten (Buddhist stone structures). After leaving Khunde we follow the trail to Khumjung (3790m), the largest town in the Khumbu district, at the foot of the Mt. Khumbila (translated โ€œGod of Khumbuโ€). After lunch at Khumbu we head to Everest View Hotel, famous for its panoramic views of Everest before heading back down to Namche Bazaar - 4 to 5 hour trek.

      Today we head along a zigzag trail to Tengboche and then on to Kenjoma. The views of Everest and Mt. Ama Dablam are nothing short of breath-taking along this section of the trek. We pass the small village of Sanasa from where the path descends to Phunki Thanga (3250m) and then have a steep ascent through pine forests passing more Mani stones as the trail hugs the slope before reaching Tengboche (3870m). Tengboche is famous for its magnificent views of many of the worldโ€™s tallest peaks, such as Kwangde (6187m), Tawachee (6542m), Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse (8501m), Amadablam, Kantega, and Thamserku.

      Today we descend on a three to four-hour trek passing through forests before crossing the Imja Khola (river) passing through the village of Pangboche, unmistakable for its fields encompassed by rock walls. Tonight we stay at Dingboche.

      From Dingboche, we have a gentle climb to Dusa and then on to Kharka. We then have to cross a bridge on our way to Thokla Pass where we can view the base of the Khumbu Glacier. We then cross the moraine of Khumbu Glacier before reaching Lobuche where we stay overnight at a lodge.

      This morning we have a two-hour trek to Gorakshep. The trail progressively becomes more difficult. Along the trail, we have some fantastic views of several soaring peaks, such as Everest, Nuptse, and other massive peaks. The trail continues for about 150 meters before crossing a moraine until we arrive at Gorakshep, one on the worldโ€™s most remote and highest settlements. After a lunch break, we trek toward EBC following a trail alongside the Khumbu Glacier. Crossing the glacier takes about 1.5 hours until we reach EBC (5360m). From EBC there are views of the Khumbu Glacier with its frightening and dangerous crevices. We will then head back to Gorakshep for the night.

      The early morning trek to Kalapathar (5550m) from Gorakshep will take about two hours. After a short climb to Kala Pathar, you will have panoramic views of Everest and other towering peaks. The dazzling photos of Everest seen on the internet are taken from this vantage point. From here we head down to Gorakshep, a fairly easy descent. At Gorakshep, we stop for a short break before continuing our descent to Pheriche where we will stay overnight.

      Leaving Pheriche we descend to Phunkithanga (3200m). This is the last phase of our as we head to Namche Bazaar where we can rejoice and look back on our trek and appreciate the splendor of these towering peaks. At Namche Bazaar you can reconnect via the internet, visit the bread shop and maybe hang out at a bar and drink to your success!

      We have a long day ahead of us as we make our way back to Lukla, which is fortunately mostly downhill with several sections of level ground. Prior to reaching Lukla, we leave the Sagarmatha National Park. We will stay overnight at Lukla.

      Today we take a scenic flight across the mountains to Kathmandu. Upon arrival at Kathmandu, your guide will take you to your hotel. The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy, by resting or wandering around Thamel to do some last-minute shopping.
