  • Day 1 Day 1: Arrive In Kathmandu.(1300 M)

      Day 1: Arrive In Kathmandu.(1300 M)

      Your arrival to Tribhuwan International Airport (TIA), you will be met by our Airport Representative, and transferred to hotel. Our staff will brief you about the trek and introduce you with your guide. If you arrive Kathmandu by noon, you may do a walking tour to Kathmandu Durbar Square (old palace) and local market of Asan Bazar. Overnight at hotel, inclusive of breakfast.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Sightseeing In Kathmandu.

      This tour will take you to the heart of 4 cultural heritage sites which are listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites. One of them is Pashupatinath, the most significant Hindu temples of Lord Shiva in the world, located on the bank of the Bagmati River in the eastern part of Kathmandu, where you can also witness the cremation at the bank of the river.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Fly To Lukla (2870M) And Trek To Phakding (2610 M)

      After taking early morning breakfast, we drive to Airport (15 minutes) and we take 30 minutes exciting flight to Lukla (2804 meters.). After meeting our trekking crews, we embark our first day trek to Phakding (2610 meters) - Enjoying the view of landscape, villages, crossing a couple of streams, bridges, we reach to Phakding in 3 hours. There is probability to get flight delay or cancel even in good season of October - November or March - April. Thus, we should be mentally prepared for such a delay! If flight is on time, we reach to Phakding on lunch time; we just stop on the way for just a cup of tea or coffee. In case of any delay we stop for lunch in Lukla or after an hour walking from Lukla. Overnight at Guest House, inclusive of breakfast, lunch & dinner.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Trek To Namche ( 3441 M)

      After taking breakfast at around 7 am, we start our second day trek following Phakding village and local market; then we cross an iron bridge over the Dudh Koshi river. After a couple of hours easy trail following the river; we arrive Manjo and Jorsali where stop for our lunch. In Jorsale there is also a checkpoint (Sagarmatha National Park office). After our lunch we register our trek permits here then enter into Sagarmatha National Park zone from here. From here trail descends for 10 minutes, we cross the bridge over the river and continue follow the Dudh Koshi river and the trail gradually ascend until we reach the last high bridge over the Bhote Koshi river. From here the trail ascends steeply until we reach Namche Bazar. It is approximately 6 hours walking. Overnight at Guest House, inclusive of breakfast, lunch & dinner.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Acclimatization Day In Namche Bazaar

      We are now quite in high elevation; thus it is an ideal to spend 2 nights here by doing day hiking to higher elevation and sleep lower elevation. This day after breakfast, we go for 3 - 4 hours hiking to Syangboche, Khungde (3840 meters), Khumjung (3780 meters). It is also worth visiting to Sagarmatha National Park Musuem. This day we will be thrilled by overlooking the amazing views of Himalayan ranges including Amadablam, Thamserku, Kusum Kangaru, Lhotse and Mount Everest. Overnight at Guest House, inclusive of breakfast, lunch & dinner.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Trek From Namche To Tengboche (3850 Meters)

      Todayยดs total walking hours will be approximately 5 - 6 hours. After leaving Namche Bazar, we follow the well defined curving trail over looking the mountain views. After 1 hour walking we arrive at Khyangjuma (3550 meters), where there are some guest houses. This place also offers amazing view of Mount Ama Dablam. From here trail descends to Sanasa and then arrive at Phunki Tenga (3150 meters) in one hour and 30 minutes. We stop here for our lunch. After crossing the river; the trail ascent following the delightful pine, rhododendron and birch forest. In a couple of hours walking we reach at Tengboche on the hillside. This place offers excellent view of Mount Amadablam and glimpse of Mount Everest. While we are here in Tengboche, it would be worth visiting the old monastery "Tengboche Monastery" in the morning or evening a the time of prayers. Overnight at Guest House, inclusive of breakfast, lunch & dinner.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Trek From Tengboche To Dingboche (4410 Meters)

      Day 7: Trek From Tengboche To Dingboche (4410 Meters)

      As usual we take our breakfast at around 7 am and start our trek at 8 am. After leaving the Tengboche monastery the hill side, we descend through pine and rhododendron forest and in about 20 minutes walking we arrive at Deboche (3820 meters). For another 20 minutes we continue our walking through the pine, rhododendron and birch forest until we arrive at the bridge and ascent again after crossing the Imja river and after about 1 hour climbing uphill we arrive at Pangboche (3930 meters). We stop here for our lunch here. It would also be worth visiting to Pangboche monastery; the oldest Gompa in the Khumbu region. After lunch we continue our trek following the Imja river with gradual ascent and after an hour walking we arrive at major trail junction (4175 meters). The left trail leads to Pheriche and and the right trail leads to Dingboche. From the junction we descent to a bridge, cross the Imja river and ascent again to reach Dingboche in an hour. Overnight at Guest House, inclusive of breakfast, lunch & dinner.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Nd Acclimatization Day

      This is our 2nd acclimatization in Dingboche valley after Namche Bazar. We are now at the elevation of 4410 meters. There is possibility to get symptoms of high altitude (headache, loss of appetite). Thus, this is an ideal to be here for 2 nights by doing some day hiking to higher elevation and spend overnight here. For day hiking there are 2 alternative destinations: The first option is to go to Chhukung Ri (5546 meters). From there, we see magnificent view of 5th highest mountain Makalu; and the second alternative hiking destination is Nagarjun Hill (5000 meters). Overnight at Guest House, inclusive of breakfast, lunch & dinner.

      We continue up the wide valley beneath the impressive peaks of Cholatse and Tawache on the left. We then turn right and take a steep climb towards the foot of the Khumbu Glacier. The tea house at Duglha is a good spot.

      The trail zigzags up through the boulders of the glacierโ€™s terminal moraine. At the top of this climb there are many stone cairns, built as memorials to the many Sherpas who have died while climbing Mt Everest. The path then climbs gently along the glacier, to eventually reach the cluster of houses at Lobuche. Overnight at Guest House, inclusive of breakfast, lunch & dinner.

      Leaving early morning the trail offers superb views of the surrounding mountains, especially where the path is forced to rise to cross a tributary glacier. We stop for lunch at our camping place Gorak Shep and we stay overnight at Guest Houses.

  • Day 12 Day 12: Trek To Everest Base Camp (5364 Meters) And Back To Ghoreshep.

      This morning, we will commence with the Mount Everest Base Camp destination through a beautiful snowy trail. There is not much elevation gain, but there are a lot of ups and downs and, combined with altitude, this can be a tiring day- but the journey is worth it. After approximately 3 hrs of hiking, you will arrive at the Base Camp and can enjoy views of the Khumbu Glacier and icefall from where the Everest expedition begins. After spending time at the base camp, we will return back to Gorakshep. Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Gorakshep, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

  • Day 13 Day 13: Hiking To Kalapatthar (5545M) - Gorekshep - Pheriche (4210M)

      The day starts with a hike up to Kalapatthar (5545m), the best viewpoint to witness Mt. Everest and the spectacular Himalayan range. The view of the sunrise from Kalapatthar amidst the Everest Mountains is breath-taking. After spending time at Kalapatthar enjoying the Himalayan panorama, we will then trek back to Gorekshep for a hot breakfast and then descend to Pheriche. Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Pheriche, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

      Today, we will trek down to Phorste. Though you are trekking back down, you may have to face some decent uphill. The hike is blessed with amazing mountain views and beautiful Himalayan landscape. Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Phorste, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

      We will descend through to the Phorste Thanka, complete a steep climb to the Mong-la Danda, have a short climb down to the Kyangjuma then follow a gentle trail to Namche. The trail is quite beautiful. Overnight stay at the guesthouse at Namche, breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

      we will descend down to Phakding from Namche. We will follow the same path back towards Phakding that we took at the beginning of the trip.

      Our final dayโ€™s trekking follows the Dudh Kosi down to Lukla. This last evening calls for a celebration because this is our last day on these fantastic mountains that were home to us all of these days. Itโ€™s celebration time now with our trekking crew who has got close to us over the weeks & are now good chums. We sample some โ€™changโ€™ (locally brewed mountain beer) and try out some Sherpa dance steps. Overnight at Guest House, inclusive of breakfast, lunch & dinner.

  • Day 18 Day 18: Fly Back To Kathmandu

      We pack up early and head for the airstrip to hop a flight back to Kathmandu On touchdown, the rest of your day is free to do your own things. You could do some last minute shopping and packing, or send a few post cards home or even go down for a stroll to Thamel, an internationally known hub for tourists in Asia. Overnight at hotel, inclusive of breakfast.
