The safety of our guests and staff is a top priority, and we are monitoring the evolving Coronavirus/COVID-19 situation closely. All of our guides are fully vaccinated to protect their safety and the safety of all visitors. We are taking recommended prevention and response measures, including: โ€ขOur Tour Guides will wear a mask throughout the tour and gloves when sanitizing, taking temperatures, opening/closing doors, and providing sanitizer to guests. โ€ขGuides will take their temperatures frequently to monitor for fever and will not work if they are sick. After an illness, a guide can return to work after receiving a negative test for COVID-19 or having no fever for 14 days. โ€ขBefore leaving our dispatch, each Tour Guide will ensure that all surfaces in the vehicle are appropriately sanitized and wiped down. โ€ข Before any guest enters the vehicle at their pickup location, our Tour Guide will use a non-contact thermometer to ensure that anyone with a fever or anyone traveling with others who have a fever (temperature must be less than 100.4ยบF (38.0ยบC)) do not enter the vehicle. โ€ขThe front seat will be off-limits to guests. โ€ข If a guest jeopardizes the health and safety of another guest, a guide, or a partner employee or customer (e.g., refuses to wear a mask, refuses to abide by social distancing guidelines, etc.), they will be removed from the tour, and no refund will be issued. โ€ขDuring the excursion, our Tour Guides will be the only individuals to open and close the vehicleโ€™s doors. โ€ขGuests will wear a mask for the duration of the tour, except in locations where masks are not required. Guests are required to supply their masks. Guests without masks will not be allowed to take the tour, and no refund will be given. Guests under age five or medically compromised will not be required to wear a mask per CDC guidelines. Children ages five and over are required to wear a face covering. โ€ขGuests will refrain from physical contact with our guide, other guests not in their party, partner staff, or other patrons while maintaining 6-foot social distancing guidelines. โ€ขAt each stop, when guests exit the vehicle, our Tour Guide will use sanitary wipes to disinfect commonly touched areas inside the vehicle. โ€ขUpon returning to the vehicle, our Tour Guide will provide hand sanitizer or wipes for each customer. โ€ขAt the end of each tour, all surfaces inside the vehicle will be sanitized and wiped down. โ€ขWe will limit the number of guests on our tours to 8. โ€ขWe are expanding our communications about our refund policy to ensure anyone who is not feeling well will receive a full refund for the tour is canceled. โ€ขOur leadership team will continue actively monitoring the recommendations from the CDC, WHO, and OHA and implement best practices accordingly. When you place your reservation, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and home address so that if we receive notification that a guest has tested positive for COVID-19, we can contact all other guests on that tour. As always, we will communicate clearly and directly about our plans and activities to continue to offer our tours in the safest possible environment.

      On arrival at Kathmandu international airport via respective airlines, you will be received by our office staff and guided with a warm welcome, then transferred to your hotels in the cityโ€™s hub.

      After checking into your rooms and getting refreshed, join the other groups for a briefing on Everest Base Camp and Wild-Life Safari Adventure; our guide offers you useful important information regarding the trek and your stay in Nepal with us.

      Starting early morning transfer to domestic airport for a short and scenic flight to Lukla, taking a smaller aircraft (Twin Otter or Dornier) during 30 minutes on air with a fantastic panorama of Himalayan series of peaks with Mt. Everest, as the plane lands on its unique uphill runways reaching at Tenzing & Hillary airport in Lukla.

      From here, a slow start with a few hours of walks downhill past many Sherpa farm villages with well-tended crops and vegetable fields and terraces with occasional views of snow-capped peaks of Kwangde and Kusum Kanguru, and then reaching our first overnight stop of the trek at Phakding in the comfort of a friendly and cozy lodge located by the raging Dudh Kosi River.


      Note: As per the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, the Lukla flight will be from Ramechhap instead of Kathmandu. So, we will provide Kathmandu to Ramechhap and Ramechhap to Kathmandu transportation.

      Today facing long uphill to reach the famous Namche Bazaar, starting with gradual walks following Dudh Kosi River upstream and crossing a few bridges to reach Sagarmatha National Park entrance near Monjo village.


      Sagarmatha for Everest in Nepalese, while Sherpa calls Chomolungma (of Tibetan origin) in both languages, means โ€™Great Mother,โ€™ from here a pleasant walk on river bed then climb for a few hours into the forested trail with views of snow-capped peaks, as this scenic walk reaches you at exciting Namche Bazaar.

      A rest day at Namche Bazaar for necessary acclimatization before heading higher is an ideal spot for a free day at this height above 3,440 m high.


      In Namche, spend the day with a scenic hike to viewpoints on top of Namche facing Mt. Everest-Amadablam and other peaks; in the afternoon, explore the streets and shops; Namche holds a colorful and busy Saturday Market once a week.

      From Namche, walk leads on gradual scenic path downhill to Imjatse River at Phunge-Tenga for lunch, afternoon uphill climb into rhododendron, pines, and fir forest with grand views of snowcapped peaks.


      After a few hours of climb, reaching Thyangboche Monastery, enjoy marvelous views of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Khangtiaga, Thermasarkhu, and Kwangde with magnificent Amadablam, an afternoon with time to visit its exciting monastery and observe monks and priest on prayer.

      Morning on the downhill for an hour towards Imjatse River, after crossing a bridge walking into an open country where tree lines stop for few short juniper and rhododendron bushes, uphill for a while to reach at Pangboche village at 3,900 meters.


      A last permanent village before Dingboche and beyond, from here a slow climb to Somara for lunch and continue walking to Dingboche village for an overnight stop, located within scenic Imjatse valley with excellent views of Amadablam and Island Peak.

      Here, a rest day for proper acclimatization is a short hike up to Nakarjung hills for better views of surrounding peaks, with Mt. Makalu towards the east adjoining.


      For some energetic people optional walk to Chukung at 4,760 m high, a small settlement within Imjatse valley, offers incredible views of Island Peak, Lhotse Shar, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam.

      After a nice, pleasant stop at Dingboche, a morning walk lead to a short climb facing excellent views and then walk on the gradual scenic trail to Thugla for lunch; this is where the massive Khumbu glacier melts into a raging river.


      From here trail Pheriche and Dingboche trail join towards Everest Base Camp; after a steep climb for an hour to Thugla pass, witness stone memorials of unfortunate climbers who died climbing on Mt. Everest, Lhotse, or other high mountains. From here, a nice walk to Lobuche for an overnight stop.

      Today our adventure takes you to Everest Base Camp; our primary goal and highlight of the trip are walking for a few hours with a short steep climb between glacier and moraine, then reaching Gorakshep, beneath the lofty peak of Pumori and Kalapathar rocky hill.


      The walk continues towards Everest base camp; at base camp, enjoy views of the massive Khumbu Ice Fall and glaciers; after an exciting time with the experience of a lifetime, retrace the journey back to Gorakshep for an overnight stop.

      Early morning climb on top Kalapathar at above 5,545 m, our highest point of the adventure with magnificent views of mountains includes Mt. Everest at close distance, after a great time on top descend back to Gorakshep for breakfast and continue to walk to Thugla, from here downhill to Pheriche around the windy valley with a nice scenic walk to Pheriche for a possible lunch stop.


      Pheriche houses many lodges with a health post and HRA station (Himalayan Rescue Association). Another few hours of good walk reach you at Pangboche village for an overnight halt.

      The walk leads on the same route from Pangboche to reach scenic Thyangboche Monastery, allowing you more time on this beautiful spot to explore its exciting monastery and observe monks and priests on prayer chanting in the harmony of the tranquil surrounding green woodland and mountain views.


      From Thyangboche, walk downhill with a short up to reach Namche Bazaar with grand views of Everest and Amadablam, including other close peaks, then reach Namche for an overnight stop after a pleasant walk of short ups and downs.

      From Phakding towards Lukla, a walk leads up and downhill with an hourโ€™s last climb to reach Lukla for the last overnight stop in Khumbu and Everest region.

      Morning, an exciting overland drive on the main Kathmandu highway to Chitwan, leading through Himalayan foothills, on reaching Tadi Bazaar at Chitwan, where a short drive leads you to your respective hotels in the town of Saura.


      Upon arrival at Chitwan near the park premises where most friendly hotels are located, the hotel manager or naturalist briefs you with jungle activities and programs after checking into your rooms.


      Afternoon activity with a short walk to Tharu village, an indigenous tribe of Terai belt low flatland of Nepal. Evening enjoys the dinner with fascinating Tharu cultural dance.

      Program and activities start early before breakfast; walk to the elephant platform for a ride on elephant backs leads you into the dense jungle to observe some wildlife in their natural habitat. Other activities include visits to elephant stables and elephant bathing and briefing after lunch, driving into the jungles, and riding on a dug-out canoe floating on Rapti River, where you can see freshwater Gangetic Gharial and Mugger crocodiles, if lucky, including freshwater dolphins, and otters.


      Other Jungle activities:

      Morning Bird Watch Tour, Machan (Watch Tower) Tour, Jungle walks, nature walks, elephant and jeep safari with elephant briefing and bathing elephants include more with entertainment of local Tharu cultural programs.
