Domestic Flights: Roundtrip flights between Kathmandu (or Manthali) and Lukla, included in the itinerary.

Your adventure begins with an exhilarating flight from Kathmandu or Manthali to Lukla, offering stunning aerial views of the Himalayan range. Upon landing in Lukla, you’ll meet your trekking crew and start your journey with a gentle trek towards Phakding. The trail follows the Dudh Koshi River, passing through charming villages and lush forests. After a few hours of trekking, you’ll arrive in Phakding, where you’ll spend the night in a cozy guest house, allowing you to acclimatize gradually to the altitude.

Leaving Phakding, you’ll trek through pine forests and cross several suspension bridges adorned with prayer flags. The trail includes both uphill and downhill sections, with breathtaking views of Thamserku peak. You’ll pass through the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo, where your permits will be checked. Continuing the trek, you’ll reach the confluence of the Dudh Koshi and Bhote Koshi rivers before embarking on a steep climb to Namche Bazaar, the bustling heart of the Khumbu region. Namche is a vibrant town with markets, shops, and cafes, perfect for rest and acclimatization.

After breakfast in Namche, you’ll begin the trek with a relatively flat path offering spectacular views of Everest, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam. The trail then descends to Phunki Tenga, a small settlement by the river. From here, you’ll start a challenging uphill climb through rhododendron forests to reach Tengboche. Tengboche is renowned for its beautiful monastery, the largest in the Khumbu region. Here, you can witness the evening prayers, surrounded by panoramic views of the Himalayas.

Leaving Tengboche, the trail descends through birch and rhododendron forests, passing by the small village of Deboche. Continuing the trek, you’ll pass through alpine meadows and yak pastures before reaching Dingboche. Dingboche offers stunning views of Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and the Imja Valley. You’ll spend the night here, enjoying the tranquil surroundings.

Today’s trek begins with a gradual ascent to Dughla, passing through a scenic valley with spectacular mountain views. From Dughla, the trail becomes steeper as you climb up the terminal moraine of the Khumbu Glacier. At the top of the ridge, you’ll find a series of memorials dedicated to climbers who lost their lives on Everest. The path then continues to Lobuche, a small settlement with breathtaking views of Nuptse and the surrounding peaks. You’ll spend the night in Lobuche, preparing for the next day’s adventure to Everest Base Camp.

This is one of the most exciting days of the trek as you head towards Everest Base Camp. The trail follows the Khumbu Glacier, passing through rugged terrain and moraines. Upon reaching Gorak Shep, you’ll take a short break before continuing to Everest Base Camp. The base camp area offers a surreal atmosphere with views of the Khumbu Icefall and surrounding peaks. After soaking in the views and capturing memories, you’ll trek back to Gorak Shep for the night.

Early in the morning, you’ll hike to Kala Patthar, the highest point of the trek, for a breathtaking sunrise view over Mount Everest and the surrounding peaks. The panoramic views from Kala Patthar are truly awe-inspiring. After descending back to Gorak Shep for breakfast, you’ll trek down to Pheriche, retracing your steps through the Khumbu valley. Pheriche is a small village known for its Himalayan Rescue Association clinic, where you can learn about high-altitude health.

In the morning, you’ll board a flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu or Manthali, marking the end of your Everest Base Camp adventure. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, where you can rest and reflect on the unforgettable experiences and memories of your trek.

Leaving the mountain behind us and taking a lot of memories, struggles, tears, happiness, and satisfaction in our heart and descending down to Pangboche, Tengboche monastery. Hiking down is significantly easier and sharing our experience and wish for the new trekkers that we will encounter on the way. We will celebrate today’s night with other trekkers as we will stay again in Namche. We still can explore Namche and interact with the locals about their lifestyle and Nepalese culture.

We will enjoy the final sight of the mountains from Namche. When we will descend towards Lukla, we will get the longest suspension bridge and the blow of morning winds makes beautiful moves of prayer flags on the bridge. After that, we will pass through several beautiful villages, which shows the mountain lifestyle, gives the reflection of Tibetian Buddhism, and the sound of the Dudh Koshi river thanks us with a warm goodbye. We will arrive in Lukla at around late afternoon. We can do a shower and make ourselves fresh and enjoy the last day in the mountains. Overnight stay at Lukla with warm and comfortable accommodation.

Our trek comes to an end today. As we take our early breakfast in Lukla and we will depart to the most extreme airport which lies nearby to our hotel.
