Tipping (expected by guides and porters, but not mandatory) Any loss arising due to unforeseen circumstances that are beyond the Sherpa expedition and Trekking control. Please be advised that if you need to return early from the trek due to reasons such as sickness, unfavorable weather conditions, personal issues, itinerary modifications, or any other unforeseen circumstances, the following conditions apply: - Any payments made for flights, hotel accommodations, mountain room bookings, meals, and related expenses are nonrefundable. - You will be required to cover the costs of hotel stays, meals, and other expenses in Kathmandu independently. Additionally, please note that during the months of March to May and September to November, all flights will depart from Ramechhap. It will be necessary for you to make a 4-5 hour drive from Kathmandu to Ramechhap in order to catch your flight. Kindly consider these terms and arrangements carefully before commencing your trek.   • Day 1 Day 1: Arrive In Kathmandu Transfer To Hotel.

      Our representative will pick you up at Kathmandu International Airport as per your flight time and then take you to your hotel. You will be given a short briefing regarding your trek and be introduced to your guide. Your hotel will be in Thamel โ€“ the tourist hub of Kathmandu and a wonderful place to explore with many cafes and shops.


  • Day 2 Day 2: Fly To Lukla (2,804 M) & Trek To Phakding (2,610 M) Duration 4-5 Hours.

      Our Everest Base Camp (EBC) adventure begins after arriving at Tenzing Hillary Airport at Lukla and then trekking to Phakding.  Our trek leads us through Chaurikharka Village before ascending to Dudh Koshi Ghat (2,530m/8,300ft) and then heads to Lukla and on finally to Phakding Village. At  Phakding we will visit the Rimishung Monastery.

      Today we follow the trail through the valley with the Dudh Kosi River at our side. We will cross the Dudh Kosi River on suspension bridges before having to climb higher before arriving at the small village of Jorsale in the Khumbu region โ€“ just south of Namche Bazaar. After a two hour trek, we will come to Namche and will have some exceptional views along the way, including Mt. Everest (Sagamartha in Nepali). You formally enter the Sagarmatha National Park at Jorsale where authorities will check your trekking permit. After another 5 or 6 hours of hard going we come to Namche Bazaar.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Exploration & Acclimatization At Namche Bazaar.

      Day 4: Exploration & Acclimatization At Namche Bazaar.

      It is highly recommended by health experts to acclimatize before heading to higher elevations. On this day, we will explore Namche Bazaar and will trek to Syangboche, also known as Everest View, and visit nearby villages in order to stay active and better acclimatize.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Trek From Namche Bazaar To Tengboche (3,860M) Duration 5-6 Hours.

      Today it takes around 5 to 6 hours to reach Tengboche as the trail zigzags, taking us through many valleys before arriving at Kenjoma, where it connects with the path from Khumjung just before passing many Mani stones (stones inscribed with sacred Buddhist prayers). The views of Everest and Mt. Ama Dablam along this section of the trail are amazing. We will pass the small village of Sanasa at which point the path descends to Phunki Thanga (3250m) before a steep ascent through pine forests before arriving at Tengboche (3870m). Tengboche is famous for its magical views of many of the worldโ€™s tallest mountains, such as Kwangde (6187m), Tawachee (6542m), Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse (8501m), Amadablam, Kantega, and Thamserku. 


  • Day 6 Day 6: Trek From Tengboche To Dingboche (4,350M) Duration 4-5 Hours.

      Today we follow the trail downhill on a 4 to 5-hour trek passing through forests before having to cross the Imja Khola (river) via the village of Pangboche, noticeable for its cultivated fields surrounded by rock walls. Tonight we stay at Dingboche.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Exploration And Acclimatization Day At Dingboche.

      We will spend another day acclimatizing at Dingboche. We will trek up to a ridge above Dingboche and take in the magnificent panoramic close-up views of the snow-capped peaks: Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Island Peak, Cho Oyu, and Makalu. In the north, we can see more Himalayan peaks soaring above Khumbu Khola valley and Dingboche Village where we will stay the night.

  • Day 8 Day 8: Trek From Dingboche To Lobuche (4,900M) Duration 5-6 Hours.

      It will take us about 5 to 6 hours to reach Lobuche, passing frozen rivers along the trail and where stone houses exist in this wild and cold region. Along the trail, we can view the Khumbu Icefall, Pumori, and many other peaks from the tops of the ridges.

  • Day 9 Day 9: Trek From Lobuche To Everest Base Camp (5,364M), & Back To Gorak Shep (5,180M) Duration 7-8 Hours.

      We have a challenging day ahead of us as we cross the Khumbu Glacier and then head up to Everest Base Camp at an elevation of 5364 meters. Everest Base camp is the closest destination to Mt. Everest that can be reached without any mountaineering equipment. After taking a look around EBC we head back to Gorak Shep for the night.

  • Day 10 Day 10: Hike Up To Kala Patthar (5,555 M) & Fly Back To Kathmnadu.

      Day 10: Hike Up To Kala Patthar (5,555 M) & Fly Back To Kathmnadu.

      The early morning trek to reach Kala Pathar (5550m) from Gorakshep will take about two hours. From Kala Pathar you will have clear and uninterrupted views of Mt.Everest and other soaring snow-covered peaks. The magnificent photos of Everest seen on the internet are taken from here. We then descend to Gorakshep - an easy downhill trek. At Gorak Shep, we will stop for a tea break before flying to Kathmandu. From Gorakshep, we take a helicopter ride back to Kathmandu.

  • Day 11 Day 11: Final Departure Day.

      Today is the end of your thrilling adventure to EBC and in the Sagarmatha National Park. A representative from Sherpa Expedition & Trekking will take you to the airport, approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight. On your way home youโ€™ll have time to reflect on your journey and maybe plan your next adventure in Nepal.
