Day 2: Berlin and Potsdam

After breakfast we depart for the enchanting city of Potsdam. You are going to explore the fascinating history of the Prussian legacy finding out more about one of the greatest and the most eccentric rulers of the XVIII century in Europe: Frederick The Great. During the panoramic visit you will admire the breath-taking summer residence of the king – Sanssouci Palace – the place of gatherings for many important intellectuals during the epoch of their time; as well as one of the most prominent philosophers of the enlightenment: Voltaire.

Wroclaw – Explore the very unique Polish city with the mixed past of the German, Prussian, Austrian, and Czech legacy. Situated on the Oder River and its tributaries is known as the city of one hundred bridges. You will have a unique opportunity to admire the city from a completely different perspective – from the seat of an old retro tram. You will explore the monumental complex of the Centennial Hall – a UNESCO world heritage site

Day 7: Heritage of WWII in Cracow

After breakfast start your guided tour in the royal Cracow, the former capital of polish kingdom and capital of the region of Lesser Poland. During the Second World War the city was strongly affected by the Nazi occupation, and persecution of both Polish and Jewish inhabitants.

After the visit to both compounds, Auschwitz and Birkenau, we will arrive to Cracow where you will the oportunity to have lunch in the Jewish quarter: Kazimierz – trying some typical specialties of the Jewish-Polish cuisines. During the guided tour we will admire several synagogues, visit the former ghetto, and visit the famous Schindler's factory, which will help us understand the harsh conditions during the Nazi occupation of Poland.

Day 8: Cracow - The Heritage and Heart of Poland

After breakfast we will dive into the Medieval history of Poland. We will visit the oldest complex the emblematic Wawel Hill with the royal caste and Stanislaus Cathedral.

Going down from the hill you will experience the Royal Road, which goes through some of the most important historical landmarks of Cracow, used for coronation processions and parades. Strolling through the enchanting streets of Poland’s former capital with numerous churches, tenant houses, and palaces you are going to make your way to the main square.
