  • Day 1 Arrival At The Entebbe International Airport And Transfer To The Lodge

      Upon your arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will be greeted by a representative from Mukisa Safaris who will transfer you to Airport Link Guest House for relaxation and overnight stay.

  • Day 2 Travel To Gulu With Enroute Rhino Tracking At Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

      Travel To Gulu With Enroute Rhino Tracking At Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

      After breakfast, you will embark on 3 hoursโ€™ drive to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, where you will have the opportunity to witness the majestic white rhinos in their natural habitat. These impressive creatures are known for their powerful charges and use of their prized horns for digging and breaking branches.


      After an exciting day of tracking the rhinos, you will be staying overnight in Gulu Municipality at African roots-Gulu a comfortable and modest accommodation facility.


  • Day 3 Travel To Kidepo Valley National Park

      Travel To Kidepo Valley National Park

      The third day of this Safari will be spent traversing the vast plains and semi-arid savannah of Northern Uganda with a motive of reaching Kidepo Valley National Park. Kidepo Valley National Park is one of the wildest and most spectacular reserves in Africa with a landscape of small hills, rocky outcrops and inselbergs. The temperatures in Kidepo are usually high, and this will certainly give you a good taste of adventure.

      While in Kidepo you can get stunning panoramic views of the Narus River Valley filled with grazing wildlife such as Elephants and herds of Buffaloes among others.

      Your overnight stay will be at the Kidepo Savannah Lodge.

      Exploration And Discovery Of Kidepo National Park And Social Interaction With The Karamajong People

      Early morning, you will have the opportunity to embark on a morning game drive through the breathtaking Narus Valley of  Kidepo National Park. During the game drive, you may be fortunate enough to come across a diverse array of wildlife, including hunting dogs, bat-eared foxes, elephants, buffalo, lions, antelopes, and even the elusive cheetah and striped hyena.


      In the afternoon, you will have a cultural interaction with Karamajong people by visiting a homestead. You will meet the local elders and have an opportunity to interact with them as they show you the kraals, the grinding stones and many more interesting items used by them. The Karamajong are still traditionally attached to their culture and you will find out when you observe how they selflessly love and defend their cattle, their way of dressing and the nature of their houses.

      Early morning, prepare to travel to Murchison Falls National Park, the largest national park in Uganda. Home to over 400 species of birds, this park is a must-see for any nature enthusiast. Not only is it home to four members of the "big five" mammals - lions, leopards, elephants, and buffaloes - but it also boasts breathtaking flat scenic landscapes. 


      After a scenic drive through the Ugandan countryside, youโ€™ll have the chance to relax at the lodge for the evening. Your accommodation will be at Fort Murchison.

      Your adventure begins with a game drive in the northern circuit, where youโ€™ll encounter stunning rolling plains and a variety of wildlife, including lions, giraffes, hartebeest, buffalos, elephants, antelopes, spotted hyenas, and leopards.


      In the afternoon, we invite you to join us on a boat trip to the bottom of Murchison Falls. Here, youโ€™ll have the opportunity to witness the breathtaking sight of the Nile as it flows through a narrow 7-meter gap and cascades down to the delta. The roar of the falls is truly a marvel to behold - donโ€™t miss this incredible experience. 

      Your overnight stay will be at the Fort Murchison.

      Visit The Top Of The Falls And Travel To Kibale Forest National Park

      After breakfast, you will embark on the drive to Kibale forest national park. However, you will make a stop at the top of the Murchison Falls. Prepare to be awestruck as you witness the raw power of the Nile River as it plunges through a narrow crevice, creating the spectacular Murchison Falls. The force, sound and speed of the water is truly a sight to behold.

      After marveling at the falls, we will embark on a 5-hour journey to Kibale forest national park.

      Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the natural breeze and the sight of Blue monkeys and Black and White colobus monkeys. The surrounding forest and thickets are alive with the sounds of birds and animals, immersing you in the natural world.

      Your overnight stay will be at the Kibale Forest Camp, a truly exceptional and one-of-a-kind tented camp. The self-contained safari tent provides a comfortable and authentic wilderness experience, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Kibale Forest.





  • Day 8 Chimpanzee Tracking In Kibale Forest National Park And Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park

      Chimpanzee Tracking In Kibale Forest National Park And Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park

      Early morning, you will enter  Kibale Forest where you will have the opportunity to observe chimpanzees, our closest living relatives. With a DNA composition that is 98.7% similar to humans, chimpanzees are known for their intelligence, sociability, and ability to use tools. During your visit, you may see chimpanzees using rocks to crack open nuts, hollowing out water with empty pods, and even using sticks to capture termites from their mounds.

      In addition to chimpanzees, Kibale Forest is home to a variety of other primates, including Colobus Monkeys and Mangabey, as well as a diverse array of birds (some of which are rare, threatened, or endemic), butterflies, flowers, and other insects.


      After a successful track of these primates, you will leave for Queen Elizabeth National Park and along the way you will enjoy the spectacular views of the splendid Rwenzori ranges.

  • Day 9 Game Drive/Lion Tracking In Kasenyi Plains And Afternoon Boat Ride On Kazinga Channel

      Game Drive/Lion Tracking In Kasenyi Plains And Afternoon Boat Ride On Kazinga Channel

      Start your day early with a thrilling game drive in the Kasenyi plains, where you will have the opportunity to see a variety of animals such as Elephants, Lions, Leopards, Buffaloes, and Antelopes. 

      While sightings of lions during normal game drives can be limited, lion tracking offers a unique opportunity to enhance your chances of seeing these elusive cats. This activity allows you to get up close to a pride of unguarded lions and learn about their behavior from trained rangers and conservationists. Itโ€™s an exciting and unforgettable experience for the daring.

      In the afternoon, you will embark on a two-hour boat ride (shared) along the Kazinga channel, where you can observe a range of water-adapted animals including hippos and crocodiles, as well as those that come to the banks to drink.

      Your overnight stay will be at the Bush Lodge.

      Travel To Bwindi Forest National Park

      After breakfast, you will travel to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park for the highlight of this safari which is gorilla tracking. Bwindi is home to almost half of the remaining mountain gorillas in the world and your encounter with these gigantic creatures will certainly give you lasting memories about your safari.

      On arrival at the lodge, you will check in and relax in preparation for the next dayโ€™s activities

  • Day 11 Gorilla Tracking In Bwindi Forest National Park

      Gorilla Tracking In Bwindi Forest National Park

      Early morning, you will go gorilla trekking. It is such a wonderful and exciting activity, though it is a challenging trek since it involves hiking through steep ascents and tangled trails.

      Once gorillas are identified, the ecstasy and frenzy cannot be explained in words. Trekking Gorillas is a very interesting activity! It comes with anxiety before you meet the gorillas and when you spot them, you get filled with amazement. You will only explain this when you get to encounter with these gentle giants.

      For conservation purposes, you will be allowed a maximum time of one hour in the vicinity of the gorillas and then after walk out of the dense forest. Your time with the gorillas will certainly create long lasting memories about your visit to Uganda.


      After all is done, return to the Ride 4 a woman for relaxation and overnight.

      Transfer To Lake Bunyonyi For Relaxation

      We wind our expedition with a deserved relaxation at Lake Bunyonyi. Laze at the shore of the lake and watch the sun sink behind the hills of Bunyonyi and Kabale! It is a nice moment to wine and enjoy the breeze of the lake! While here, you will also enjoy canoeing and swimming. Bird life is in plenty for those who can do bird watching!

  • Day 13 Travel To Entebbe International Airport For A Departure Flight With Enroute Visit To The Equator Crossing Monument

      Travel To Entebbe International Airport For A Departure Flight With Enroute Visit To The Equator Crossing Monument

      After your awesome time in Uganda, you will embark on your return road trip to Entebbe. This time we traverse the rolling hills and mountains of Kigezi and Ankole region.

      You will make a brief stop at the equator crossing, take the best photo shots and engage in some of the activities and experiments that people normally engage in when they reach the equator. The experiments engaged in are not scientifically tested/proved but fun to watch. These experiments involve pouring water in the basin while observing how it swirls in opposite directions in the northern & southern hemispheres of the equator line.

      After this exercise, we will proceed with our road drive to Entebbe airport for your departure flight back home or next destination.
