  • Day 1 Arrival At Paro

      Fly by Druk Air to Paro, Bhutan. The flight to Paro is one of the most spectacular in entire Himalayas. Whether flying along the Himalayan range from Kathmandu or over the foothills from Kolkatta, the journey offers fascinating views and an exciting descent into the Kingdom.


      Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, our representative will welcome you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel in Paro. Rest of the day is free for own leisure activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 2 Paro - Thimpu (90 Km - 2.30 Hrs Drive)

      After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Thimpu. Upon arrival at Thimphu, check-in at the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later proceed for the sightseeing of Thimphu, visit Pangri Zampa Monastery for astrology session, later visit the National Library - housing an extensive collection of priceless Buddhist manuscripts, the Institute for Zorig Chusum (commonly known as the Painting School), Textile Museum, and Simply Bhutan - a living museum and studio encapsulating the cultural heritage of the Bhutanese people. After that visit Changangkha Lhakhang - a fortress like temple and monastic school perched on a ridge above Thimphu, south of Motithang. Afterwards drive to Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodrang). You can pay your obeisance and offer prayers to the Buddha, the largest statue in the country and then walk around and take a glimpse of the valley. If time permits, visit the Kingโ€™s Memorial Chorten continuously circumambulated by people, murmuring mantras and spinning their prayer wheels. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 3 Thimpu - Dochula - Punakha (80 Km/2.30 Hrs Drive)

      After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Punakha. On your way to Punakha, halt at Dochula pass (3100mts) for a photo break, this pass makes the drive from Paro to Punakha one of the most beautiful pass in Bhutan. 108 Druk Wangyel Chortens, built over the pass by queen mother in 2003 marks the pass more important than another passes. In a clear weather, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the highest mountains of Bhutan. Later continue your drive to Punakha. Upon arrival, check into the hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later in the afternoon visit the most beautiful Punakha Dzong, which houses the most elaborated temple in the country. The Dzong, showcase the finest example of the arts and crafts of Bhutan. After that trek to Chimi Lhakhang, situated on a hillock in the centre of the valley, also known as the temple of fertility. A walk through the village near the temple will give you rare glimpses into the daily life and lifestyle of the villagers. Overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 4 Punakha - Jakar (200 Kms/5.30 Hrs Drive)

  • Day 5 At Jakar

      After breakfast at the hotel, head-out to explore Jakar, visit Jakar Dzong, a towering fortress that is the administrative and religious center of the Bumthang Valley. Learn about the dzongโ€™s history and architecture, and visit the temple complex. Later in the afternoon, have lunch at one of the many restaurants in Jakar town. Try some traditional Bhutanese dishes, such as ema datshi (chili and cheese stew) or jasha maru (spicy chicken curry).


      Later, visit Jambey Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan. This sacred site is believed to have been visited by Guru Rinpoche, the founder of Buddhism in Bhutan. Take some time to explore the temple complex and admire the beautiful murals and statues. After that visit Kurjey Lhakhang, another important Buddhist temple in Jakar. This temple is famous for its body prints of Guru Rinpoche, which are said to have been miraculously imprinted on the rocks. Take some time to meditate and reflect on the spiritual significance of this sacred site. In the evening, take a walk around Jakar town and soak up the atmosphere. You can visit some of the souvenir shops or simply enjoy the peaceful evening. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 6 Jakar - Phobjikha Valley (150 Kms/4 Hrs Drive)

      Start your drive from Jakar to Phobjikha. The drive takes about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Upon arrival in Phobjikha, check into your hotel. Rest and relax at the hotel, later head-out to explore Phobjikha. Start your sightseeing from Gangtey Gompa, the largest and most important monastery in Phobjikha. This monastery is home to a large community of monks and nuns, and it is a popular pilgrimage site for Bhutanese people. In the afternoon, visit Phobjikha Valley Visitor Center to learn more about the valleyโ€™s natural and cultural heritage. The visitor center has a variety of exhibits on the valleyโ€™s flora and fauna, as well as its traditional way of life. Later take a walk through Phobjikha Valley. The valley is home to a variety of birdlife, including black-necked cranes, which migrate to the valley from Tibet every winter. You can also see other wildlife, such as deer, monkeys, and takins (Bhutanโ€™s national animal). In the evening, relax at your hotel and enjoy the peaceful evening atmosphere. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

  • Day 7 Phobjikha Valley - Paro (175 Kms/4.30 Hrs Drive)

  • Day 8 At Paro

      After breakfast at the hotel, hike to Taktsang Monastery or Tiger Nest. The temple is located in the sacred rock, which is believed to have been blessed by Guru Rinpoche in the 8th century. Legend has it that Guru Rinpoche flew to this site on a tigressโ€™ back to subdue a local demon. Thereafter, he meditated here for three months. Visiting Tigerโ€™s Nest temple will be rewarded with a breathtaking view and ones in a lifetime memory. It takes almost 2 hours to walk up at an average pace. Although the main building of the temple was destroyed by fire on April 1998, it rebuilt to former glory in 2001. The hike up to the viewpoint is worthwhile and fulfilling. In the afternoon, visit Ta Dzong, originally built as Watchtower, which now houses National Museum. Also visit Rinpung Dzong, Kichu Lhakhang, and Drukgyal Dzong. Overnight stay at the hotel.
