      E-Mountainbike Transalp

8 days guided bike tour across the Alps! (June 11th - June 19th, 2020) This tour is for people who love to ride a bike in the nature over rocks, between trees and on small trails. So there is some practise on a bike recommended (Training day one day before departure is possible).  Per day the participants have to ride an altitude of 1.300 m. Your E-Mountainbike should be equipped with min. 500 W, wheels of 27,5 +, fast acceleration, Akku has to be changeable and not fixed on the bike, good brakes (min 180mm Disc) Day 1: Welcome Day  Get together and have the first rides with tecnical tuition on your E-Mountainbike in Going am Wilden Kaiser. Late afternoon transfer to Mayrhofen where the tour starts Day 2: Mayrhofen Mauls - Smugglers Paths Crossing from Mayrhofen area over to the area of Vipiteno in Italy (close to Brennero) The first highlight of the tour to cross over the Alps with great views over to glaciers and ride (sometimes push) on rocky paths. 60 KM, 1800 HM (meters of altitude) Day 3: Apples - History and Wine From Vipiteno area to the Villnรถss Valley (close to Bressanone) passing apple gardens and vinyards and a lot of historical places with castles and old little towns. At the end of the day we will meet "Speck Hans" (literally translated it means Bacon John) and taste some of his products in his small original mountain hut. 60 KM, 1900 HM Day 4: Top of the Tour Val Gardena to Val di Fassa This day takes us over the mountains up to Val Gardena, one of the most popular ski destination in Italy and surrounded by the Dolomites mountains. Mellow mountain fields at the "Seiser Alm" and the well known peaks of Val Gardena such as "Langkofel" will be a breathtaking scenery - you hardly will find a better place for your bicycle work out . 75 KM, 1900 HM - approximately 30 min of pushing the bike Day 5: "Wild Italy" From Predazzo along the river and then up into the forests. Sometimes the paths are not easy but a lot of fun. We will pass by small little villages with only a handfull of houses and a small church and for sure we will find one place to have a peaceful rest before we carry on to the village of Palu del Fersina. 50 KM, 1800 HM Day 6: Kaiserjรคger Cross Country Trail  From Palu del Fersina we will ride to Levicio Terme - a small spa-resort with a lake.  Before you will get there we had a stop up the mountain to try some of this selfmade cheese the farmers offer.  In world war one the Austrian Empire troups fought against the Italians in places where you hardly could get. So they had to build paths and military positions into the rocks. Using those paths and passing the military positions we make our way further south-west. A day with great trails and some places to think about how beautiful a peaceful world is. 50 KM, 1800 HM Day 7: Enduro Trails to the finish On our last day starts with a difficult downhill part (there is an alternative route to this "S1 Trail"). After that we will have a great view down to the main valley with the town of Roveretto where we will have a brake. The last ascent up and then some "flowy" trails down to Riva at Lake Garda where we finish our tour. 55 KM, 1600 HM Day 8: Transfer back  After breakfast we will be picked up at our hotel to make our way back to the starting spot Going am Wilden Kaiser. And for sure with many emotions, feelings and things to remember in your luggage!
