Day 1: Luxor East Bank

Upon arrival at Luxor Airport you will be transferred to your cruise ship for a 4 night Nile cruise. After check-in, you will enjoy a guided day tour of the East Bank of Luxor with a visit to Karnak and Luxor Temples. You will be transferred back to the cruise ship for lunch and spend the night on board in Luxor. You have the option of seeing the Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temples in the evening (additional cost) (Meals included: LD).

You will be transferred back to the cruise ship for lunch. At night you have the opportunity to enjoy one of the best things to do at night in Luxor, which is the Sound and Light Show at the Karnak Temples (at an additional cost). Overnight on board in Luxor

Luxor Temple, which is dedicated to the Theben Triad of Amun-Ra, Mut and Khonsu. There you will see the granite statues of Ramses the Great. These ancient temples are a must-see for Luxor travelers.

Day 2: Luxor West Bank

Pass By: Luxor, Luxor, Nile River Valley
Possibility of optional hot air ballooning over the West Bank (additional cost). After breakfast you begin your day tour of the West Bank of Luxor. First you will be transported to the Necropolis of Thebes, a must see for visitors, in the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank of Luxor. Here you visit 3 tombs of various dynasties. Your Egyptologist tour guide will be on hand to recommend and advise you as to which tombs to visit. After visiting the tombs you will be transported to the Temple of Ramses III (Medinet Habu). Afterwards, you will be taken to see the Colossi of Memnon, the two largest ancient statues in Egypt. At every site you will get information from your Egyptologist tour guide and you get free time to explore the ancient monuments by yourself. You will be transferred back to the cruise ship for lunch, as the ship sails toward Esna. Overnight in Edfu (Meals included: BLD).

Stop At: Hot Air Balloon in Luxor, television street, Gazirat Al Awameyah, Luxor, Luxor Governorate 85951, Egypt

First you will be transported to the Necropolis of Thebes, the Valley of the Kings on the West Bank of Luxor. This ancient necropolis is a must-see for Luxor travelers. There you visit four royal tombs, including the Tomb of Ramses lll, the Tomb of Ramses lV, the Tomb of Merenptah .Valley of the Kings on the West Bank of Luxor.

The tomb of Ramesses III, designated as KV 11, is a complex system in the Valley of the Kings. It has been known since antiquity,the wonderful decorations include colourful painted sunken reliefs featuring the traditional ritual texts (Litany of Ra, Book of Gates etc) and Ramses before the gods. Unusual here are the secular scenes, in the small side rooms of the entrance corridor, showing foreign tributes, such as highly detailed pottery imported from the Aegean, the royal armoury, boats and, in the last of these side chambers, the blind harpists that gave the tomb one of its alternative names: ‘Tomb of the Harpers’

Stop At: Tomb of Ramses IV, Valle de Los Reyes, Luxor Egypt
The tomb of Ramses IV (KV 2) in the Valley of the Kings is rather different than most other tombs built here. This tomb is by far the most spectacular of the other tombs you will see. The hieroglyphics on the wall depict scenes from the Litany of Ra, Book of the Dead, Book of Caverns, the Book of the Heavens, Book of Amduat, and the Book of the Night. The blue and white colors on the walls inside the burial chamber are very vibrant and you can see the king's sarcophagus made of rose-colored granite. There is also a beautiful scene of goddess Nut on the ceiling, where she is depicted swallowing the sun, and it traveling through her stomach, for Nut to give birth to it.

Stop At: Tomb of Merenptah, Valley of the Kings West Bank, Thebes, Luxor Egypt

King Tutankhamun, the most famous king in the world. This young king from the New Kingdom was around 10 years old when he ascended the throne and died when he was only 19. You will get the chance to be face to face with his royal mummy in his tomb in the Valley of the Kings

Such as the Temple of Ramses III "Habu", one of the most important Pharaonic temples. Its establishment dates back to the era of the Twentieth Dynasty in ancient Egyptian history, and it had a special religious sanctity for the ancient Egyptians.

Day 3: Aswan [Temple of Horus Adfo - Temple of Kom Ombo]

After breakfast you will be taken to see the Temple of Horus in Edfu, which is dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed god. This relatively young pharaonic temple is well-preserved and therefore very impressive. Afterwards, in Kom Ombo you visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, which is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek. After this temple you have lunch on board as the ship sails toward Aswan. Overnight in Aswan (Meals included: BLD).

After coming back from Abu Simbel, the ship will sail to Kom Ombo and Edfu. In Kom Ombo you will visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, which is dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek. After this visit you will sail toward Edfu. in the evening you will have dinner on board and spend the night at Edfu.

Day 4: Aswan [ Abu Simbel ]

Early in the morning you will enjoy a guided tour of Abu Simbel Temples. After coming back from Abu Simbel you will be transferred back to the cruise ship for lunch, where you can also enjoy cruise activities and dinner in the evening. You spend the night on board in Aswan (Meals included: BLD).

It is an archaeological site located in the belly of the mountain, south of Aswan
made up of two large temples carved into the rock. It was built by King Ramses II in 1250 BC These two temples were among the greatest temples in ancient Egypt. They are usually called the "Great Temple of Abu Simbel" and the "Little Temple of Abu Simbel," both of which are more spacious and grandiose than all the Egyptian rock temples of all times. There are six statues at the entrance to the other temple, four of them of Ramses II and two of his wife Nefertari.

Day 5: Aswan [ Temple of Philae -Aswan High Dam ] - Departure day

Pass By: Aswan, Aswan, Aswan Governorate, Nile River Valley
After breakfast on board, you can check-out at 8 am. Then a guided day tour begins, beginning with a boat trip to the Temple of Philae, which was built in honor of the goddess Isis. To finish off your cruise itinerary, you'll go to the High Dam across the Nile, which was built in the 1960s to protect Egypt from annual floods (meals include: B).
