      Day 1: Our Adventure Begins

      Departing from Scotlandโ€™s capital city Edinburgh, weโ€™ll begin our journey north, stopping to see the impressive Forth Railway Bridge. We will then continue on to the quaint Victorian town of Pitlochry, where you'll have time to explore and grab a morning snack or pick up a picnic lunch for later. Continuing through the Cairngorms National Park we'll make our way to Fort Augustus for lunch. This is pretty village at the south end of Loch Ness, Take a stroll to the waters edge and look out for "Nessie". Next we head to Eilean Donan Castle( admission extra) where we'll spend some time before crossing the bridge to Skye.ย  Overnight: Skyeย

      We have a full day discovering the "Misty Isle". To the far nroth and the outstanding Trotternish Peninsula, The Kilt Rock and The Old Man of Storr. Your experienced and knowledgeable guide will ensure you get the most out of your day and enjoy sights such as the craggy Cuillin Mountains. Portree is your lunch stop, where you can enjoy delicious fish and chips next to the harbour โ€“ just watch out for the seagulls! ย Still lots to discover this afternoon on this magical island.   • Day 3 Day 3: Ferries And A Steam Train

      Day 3: Ferries And A Steam Train

      This morning we will continue to explore Skye, taking in some highlights in the south of the island. Our jourrney take us past the ruined Armadale Castle and time pernitting a stop at the Clan Donald Centre to explore more of the island history. ย We will then join a ferry from Armadale to Mallaig, our lunch stop for the day. There may also be an opportunity to join a Wildlife Cruise here (admission extra). Next we will join the Jacobite Steam Train (or Hogwarts Express!) and enjoy the stunning 2-hour train trip. The conductor will point out some of the sites used in the Harry Potter films and the train will slow as we cross the Glenfinnan Viaduct before arriving at our overnight destination.
