Meals

Meals are not included, but we stop off along the route at supermarkets. Our hostel, where youโ€™ll stay, has a kitchen where you can whip up dinner on a budget or you can head out to one of the local pubs to try some of the local delicacies.

We try to keep our prices down for travellers and backpackers on a budget so we donโ€™t include any paid attractions in the price of the tour, however depending on availability and popularity, we may visit sites where youโ€™ll have the option to pay for a ticket to enter. Please let your guide know if youโ€™re keen to visit any paid attractions!

Accommodation

Your accommodation is reserved for you - you just need to pay for it at the departure point (Castle Rock hostel reception). Weโ€™ll be staying on Skye in our cosy private hostel in the village of Kyleakin. The cost is ยฃ32 per person per night. We unfortunately cannot organize private accommodation on this tour as we only offer dorm style rooms.

      A full dayโ€™s adventure lies ahead exploring the incredible Isle of Skye as we set off from Kyleakin around the island that has inspired countless artists and creators.       We say goodbye to the misty isle and head south taking in views of the Nevis range and Britainโ€™s highest mountain, Ben Nevis. Weโ€™ll discover the haunting beauty of Glen Coe and hear tales of clan massacres, the likes of which inspired George R.R.
