      The invitation of this day is to discover the place where the competition was formerly held

      of the Bird Man (Tangata -manu) that was performed annually in the spring time in the

      cliff of the Rano Kau volcano and the ceremonial village of Orongo. We cannot forget that history

      at all times will be present on our tour, one of the witnesses of that story is

      Rano Kau. This freshwater crater is one of the main volcanoes on our island and has

      a privileged view of the Pacific Ocean and the interior of the volcano. In addition, we will know Orongo

      ceremonial village of great cultural and spiritual importance given its relationship with the

      Tangata Manu competition. The village has a total of 54 houses of which the majority were

      restored in 1974. Today this village contains a path that will allow us a view

      direct to the restored houses along with their rock art and petroglyphs. Next, we will head

      to Vinapu, this ceremonial center is one of the most important on the island and one of the most

      mysterious, because its large basalt slabs fit perfectly on the back of

      its ahu or platform, which impacts its similarity to the ancient constructions of the Inca Empire in
