  • Day 1 Arrival In Vientiane

      Arrival In Vientiane

      Arrival at Wattay Airport, transfer to hotel. Situated on the banks of the Mekong River, Vientiane is the charming and charming capital of Laos. Despite its small size, the city has a rich and diverse culture thanks to influences from Thailand, China, Vietnam and France.

  • Day 2 Vientiane City Tour And Surroundings

      Vientiane City Tour And Surroundings

      After Breakfast,  We will have a comprehensive city tour, including the oldest temple, Wat Sisaket, a very interesting structure with images of Buddha. We will also visit what was the royal temple of Wat Phra Kaew, which once housed the famous image of the Emerald Buddha. En route to the most important monument of Lao culture, the famous and sacred stupa of That Luang, we will stop to see the imposing Patuxai Monument known as the Arch of Triumph of Vientiane. We will also explore the Talat Sao Central Market. In the afternoon, we will visit the weaving village of Ban Nong Bouathong, and then head to the outskirts of the city to see Buddha Park, which has a charming collection of Buddhist and Hindu sculptures, scattered along the banks of the Mekong, near the Friendship Bridge. There are about 200 religious images from about 500 years ago, created by a mysterious monk who wanted to make known his philosophy of life and the universe. We will end the day watching the sunset on the Mekong River, from one of the riverside bars. Overnight in Vientiane.

  • Day 3 Destination To Vang Vieng City

      Destination To Vang Vieng City

      We will say goodbye to this beautiful city after breakfast, we will continue the route north along highway 13. We will pass through beautiful landscapes of the mountainous region. We will make a stop at Vang Xang, a famous archaeological site from the 11th century. We will reach our final destination in the afternoon: the small and quiet town of Vang Vieng, located in a bend of the Nam Song River. This amazing scenery, framed between the calm waters of the river and the sandstone, remains intact. We will cross the river to visit the Tham Jang caves, where we will take a short walk around the area and through some more remote villages. We will end the day watching a fabulous sunset (weather permitting) over the Nam Song River. Overnight in Vang Vieng.

  • Day 4 Destination To Luang Prabang City

      Destination To Luang Prabang City

      After breakfast, we will continue our journey north on Route 13 to Luang Prabang, possibly the best preserved traditional town in all of Southeast Asia. The beautiful route of the new road takes us through a stunning landscape of rice terraces and mountain villages. We will make a few stops in the villages. Each village in this area is different, some more prosperous than others, but all full of life.

      After arriving in Luang Prabang, we will have time to rest a little at the hotel. After the break, we will visit Mount Phousi to enjoy a sunset over the city, with its image reflected in the Mekong River. In the evening, we will visit the Night Market, where we can find a variety of items handmade by the inhabitants of the mountain tribe villages that live around Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

  • Day 5 A Guided Visit To The Oldest Temple, Sanctuaries And Pak Ou Caves

      A Guided Visit To The Oldest Temple, Sanctuaries And Pak Ou Caves

      After breakfast, we will take a guided tour of the oldest temple in the city, Wat Visoun, and the sanctuaries of Wat Aharm, Wat Mai and Wat Sene as well as the fabulous Wat Xiengthong with its low ceilings, a perfect example of classical Luang Prabang architecture. We will then board a boat for a tour of the Mekong River. The boat will take us to visit the mysterious Pak Ou Caves, which are two connected caves housing thousands of golden Buddha statues of different shapes and sizes, these statues are offerings from pilgrims. Next, we will stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where rice wine is produced. On the way back, we will stop at the villages of Ban Xiengmene and Ban Chan. Finally, we will visit the royal temple at Wat Longkhoun. On the way back to Luang Prabang, we will make a short getaway to Ban Phanom, known for its textiles and embroidery. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

  • Day 6 Excursion To Kuang Si Waterfalls

      Excursion To Kuang Si Waterfalls

      In the early morning, we will take part in a traditional almsgiving ceremony. Monks in their saffron robes go out to collect offerings from the local people. After breakfast at the hotel, we will visit the Phousi Market where local products such as dried buffalo skin, agricultural products and textiles from other villages are sold. Laos is well known for its handicrafts, and today we will have the opportunity to visit the villages in Ban Ouay, Ban Ou and Ban Thapene where they have the best reputation for handicrafts. Next we will go to the beautiful Kuang Si waterfalls, where one can cool off in the natural pools or walk through the forest. We will return to Luang Prabang in time to watch the sunset at Wat Siphouthabath. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

  • Day 7 Departure From Luang Prabang Airport

      Departure From Luang Prabang Airport

      After breakfast, we will visit the National Museum (closed on Tuesdays) and the former Royal Palace to learn more about Lao history and culture. We may also visit the Central Market if time permits. Afterwards, we will be transferred to the airport to take a return flight or a connecting flight with an extension.
