Welcome to the land of "Pura Vida!" Costa Rica - our representative will be at the airport to help facilitate you on your way to the hotel. If you have some free time and arrive early take a stroll around the city and soak up the lively atmosphere. At 6 pm, we’ll have a group meeting where you’ll get to meet your fellow travellers and our knowledgeable tour guide. Don’t worry; they won’t bite, and they’ll have plenty of tips and tricks to make your trip unforgettable. After the meeting, we’ll head out for an optional welcome dinner. Get ready to feast on some mouth-watering local cuisine and sip on delicious tropical drinks. Don’t be surprised if you hear the phrase "Pura Vida" a lot tonight; it’s a Costa Rican expression that means "pure life" or "life is good" and it perfectly encapsulates the country’s laid-back and friendly vibe. So grab a plate, raise a glass and get ready for an adventure of a lifetime!
Day 2 Visit The Sloth Sanctuary

Visit The Sloth Sanctuary

After breakfast, we’ll board our comfortable transport and hit the road. Along the way, we’ll pass through lush rainforests, scenic countryside and charming towns providing an opportunity to take in the beauty and diversity of Costa Rica. Our main stop of the day will be the sloth sanctuary, where you’ll get to see these fascinating creatures up close and learn about their conservation efforts. The sanctuary is home to various species of sloths, including the rare and endangered maned three-toed sloth. You’ll have the opportunity to walk through the sanctuary’s gardens and view sloths in their natural habitats. You’ll also have the chance to interact with baby sloths, which are simply adorable! After spending some time at the sanctuary, we’ll continue our journey to Puerto Viejo. A charming coastal town famous for its stunning beaches, laid-back vibe and delicious Caribbean cuisine. Get ready to relax and soak up the tropical atmosphere as we settle into our accommodations and explore this vibrant town.
Day 3 Snorkeling And Hiking In Cahuita National Park.

Snorkeling And Hiking In Cahuita National Park.

After breakfast we’ll head to Cahuita National Park, a protected area known for its coral reefs and diverse wildlife. Here you’ll have the opportunity to snorkel in the crystal-clear waters and discover the colourful marine life, spend the afternoon hiking in the park where you’ll have the chance to spot monkeys, sloths and other exotic animals. The park is also home to a stunning coastal trail that winds through lush rainforest and offers breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea. After our adventures in Cahuita, we’ll return to Puerto Viejo, where you can spend the afternoon relaxing on the beach, exploring the town’s vibrant culture at your own pace, or indulging in some delicious Caribbean cuisine.
Day 4 Tortuguero National Park

Our journey will take us through stunning landscapes and charming towns, giving you a chance to take in the beauty of the country. Arrive at the dock where we’ll board a boat to take us to Pachira Lodge our home for the next few days. Along the way, keep an eye out for exotic wildlife like monkeys, toucans and caimans. Once we arrive at Pachira Lodge we’ll check-in and have some time to relax and settle in. The lodge is located in the heart of Tortuguero National Park, a protected area known for its sea turtles, birdlife and lush rainforest.
Day 5 Canal Tour Of Tortuguero National Park

Canal Tour Of Tortuguero National Park

After breakfast we’ll board a boat and take a canal tour of Tortuguero National Park. This will give us a chance to see the park’s diverse flora and fauna, including monkeys, sloths, caimans and maybe even see a toucan. The canals are also home to various species of sea turtles which nest on the park’s beaches during certain times of the year. Our guide will share interesting facts about the park’s ecology, history and wildlife. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to take photos and soak up the natural beauty of the park. In the afternoon you can choose to explore the lodge’s surroundings, go kayaking, or simply relax by the pool. In the evening we’ll regroup for another group dinner at the lodge.
Day 6 Beautiful Landscapes And Rural Communities

Beautiful Landscapes And Rural Communities

Today we’ll be saying goodbye to the lush rainforests of Tortuguero National Park and make our way to the stunning Arenal Volcano and La Fortuna. After breakfast, we’ll board a boat and travel back to the dock where our transportation will be waiting. We will then make our way to La Fortuna, a charming town located at the base of the Arenal Volcano. Beautiful landscapes and rural communities, giving you a chance to experience the local way of life. Keep an eye out for stunning views of the volcano as we approach La Fortuna. Check-in to our hotel and have some time to relax and settle in. In the afternoon you can choose to explore the town and its surroundings, go on a hike or simply relax at the hotel.
Day 7 Hanging Bridges Park

Today we’ll be exploring the stunning Arenal Volcano and its surroundings. After breakfast we’ll head to the Arenal Hanging Bridges Park, a beautiful reserve that offers stunning views of the volcano and the surrounding rainforest. The park features a series of hanging bridges that allow you to explore the canopy of the rainforest and get up close to the local flora and fauna. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to take photos and soak up the natural beauty of the area. After the tour we’ll return to La Fortuna for some free time. In the afternoon, we’ll take part in a traditional cooking class with Doña Ligia a 61-year-old community leader who will share her recipes and cooking techniques with us. This is a unique opportunity to learn about the local cuisine and culture and connect with the local community.
Day 8 Resort Located On A Hill Overlooking The Gulf Of Papagayo

Resort Located On A Hill Overlooking The Gulf Of Papagayo

Today we’ll be leaving the beautiful Arenal Volcano and making our way to the stunning Gulf of Papagayo. After breakfast we’ll board our transportation and start our journey to the Occidental Papagayo Hotel- our home for the next two nights. We’ll pass through beautiful landscapes, rural communities and stunning coastal scenery as we make our way to the hotel. Check-in and have some time to relax and settle in. The Occidental Papagayo Hotel is a beautiful resort located on a hill overlooking the Gulf of Papagayo, offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. In the afternoon you can choose to explore the hotel’s surroundings, relax at the beach or take part in one of the hotel’s many activities. The hotel offers a variety of water sports, including kayaking and paddle boarding as well as yoga and fitness classes.

Today is a free day for you to relax and explore the stunning Gulf of Papagayo. You can choose to spend the day relaxing at the hotel’s beach or pool, taking part in one of the many activities offered by the hotel, or explore the surrounding area. The Gulf of Papagayo is known for its stunning beaches, clear waters and lush tropical forests making it the perfect place to unwind and recharge. In the evening we will come together for an optional farewell dinner at the hotel. Where we will have a chance to share our experiences of the trip, exchange contact information and say goodbye to our fellow travellers.
