      A representative from Sherpa Expedition & Trekking will be there to greet you at Tribhuvan International Airport and take you to your hotel in Thamel, followed by a briefing information session. The rest of your time is free for you to wander the narrow winding streets of Thamel and buy anything you may need before the climb.

      Our journey begins with a 6-7 hour drive toward the Pokhara Valley and its stunning Phewa Tal (lake) and then checking in to your hotel close to Phewa Tal. There are loads to see and do along Lakeside with its many shops, bars and restaurants to choose from. Sunset at lakeside is especially beautiful as you look over the Annapurna Ranges.

      Today we head off from Pokhara towards Beni on a three hour scenic drive before starting our trek from Beni to Tatopani (meaning hot water in Nepali) passing through cultivated terraced fields before reaching Tatopani Village where we can take a dip in the therapeutic hot pools. We will stay overnight here.

      Today we leave Yak Kharka and head to Dhampus Pass/Thapa Pass, a much higher altitude where we will stay the night.

      To reach the summit around lunchtime we have to be up and ready to go very early. The higher we climb the more dramatic the views over a infinite white landscape of gigantic snow covered peaks. This is a perfect opportunity to snap photographs of the many 30 plus towering peaks โ€“ especially the close-up views of Tukuche (6920m) and Dhaulagiri 1 (8167m). We will then descend to Kalopani where we will stay the night.

      The days of trekking are over as we take a scenic drive back to Pokhara where we will stay in a hotel near Lakeside with its many bars and restaurants where you can recall with friends your climbing adventure to Dhampus Peak. Lakeside is an ideal place to be when the sun sets over the Annapurna Ranges.
