Day 1: Tour to Desolation Sound - Lund to Homfray Lodge

Pass By: Desolation Sound Marine Provincial Park, British Columbia Canada
Welcome reception and meet the crew as we set off from the quaint village of Lund. Touring north into Desolation Sound, we will pass Desolation Sound Provincial Marine Park a haven for boaters and kayakers with its calm waters and sheltered anchorages. As we leave the boaters behind we travel into Homfray Channel, one of the deepest in North America and flanked by towering peaks including the majestic Mount Denman (1920 m, 6299 ft straight up from the sea). In the evening, we reach Homfray Lodge nestled in the remote wilderness of Desolation Sound, where we meet the staff and enjoy our meals prepared by the lodge's chef.

Day 2: Toba Inlet Cruise

Pass By: Homfray Channel, Powell River A, BC, Canada
Travel north into remote Toba Inlet, a deep fjord with steep peaks, glacier green water and spectacular waterfalls, on the Great Bear Rainforest. Return to Homfray Lodge this afternoon with time to relax on the lodge's expansive dock as chef prepares your dinner.

Day 3: Homfray Lodge

Stop At: Homfray Lodge, Powell River A, BC V8A, Canada
Today is a day at leisure to enjoy Homfray Lodge. The waters here are especially warm and with little nearby development the lodge is located in a true wilderness paradise. The meetings of the tides and warm summers allows for rich marine life and excellent chance for salt water swimming. Oysters grow in abundance around the lodge and curious Harbour seals are often seen swimming just off the dock. Water temperate can exceed 75ยฐF (22ยฐC) making the dock a natural hub of activity and place to sit back and relax. This peaceful setting allows you to enjoy the breathtaking scenery, vibrant marine life, and the lodge's activities such as kayaks, stand up paddle boards or join and eco boat tour to explore the nearby waters and vibrant marine life.

Day 4: Tour to Quadra Island

Stop At: Tsa-Kwa-Luten Lodge/Cape Mudge Resort, 1, Lighthouse Rd, Quathiaski Cove, BC V0P 1N0, Canada
Depart Homfray Channel and tour Desolation Sound to Quadra Island and Heriot Bay. Keep your cameras ready as this is the day we spot most of our humpback whales!

Day 5: Return to Lund

Depart Tsa-Kwa-Luten Lodge after breakfast.
