PASSENGER WEIGHTS - Passengers have to submit their correct weights at the time of booking. If any change in weight found at the time of their travel from the submitted weights, which would exceed our aircraft’s weight carrying capacity of 450 kg for 06 passenger(s) would be deboarded & cancelled for the Yatra without any refund. OVERWEIGHT CHARGES : ON PER SEAT BASIS ONLY - Overweight charges are applicable @ INR 2000/kg. This will be chargeable to passengers weighing above 75 kg. But excess weight (not exceeding helicopter’s -total weight limitation) will only be calculated on the total excess weight above the total permissible weight of all the group members combined, i.e., permissible weight = 75 Kg x (No. of pax). Furthermore, any discrepancy found in the weights of the passengers, which would be chargeable as per the overweight criteria, the same would be collected prior to boarding of flights. BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE - Only one baggage weighing a maximum of 5 kgs is allowed per passenger. It Is not permitted to carry suitcases or any other luggage bags in the helicopter. Therefore, duffle bags are suggested to all passengers on the day of arrival. In view of our helicopters’ limited weight carrying capacity, we reserve the right to shuffle passengers between helicopters to manage the right weight for safe flying in the hills. Therefore, passengers travelling together may not be accommodated in same helicopter flight but at Hotel will be together. ARRIVAL DATE - Our Chardham 4N5D Heli-tours are booked departure date wise. However, passengers have to arrive Dehradun one day prior to the departure date. Dehradun complimentary night stay which is provided on the arrival date makes our package a 5Night/6Days tour. The actual flying commences from day 02 of the tour. SEATING CAPACITY - The maximum seating capacity for our helicopters is 06 passengers. INFANTS - Infant below 2 years or 12kg are accommodated free of charge. For verification of age the child, ID proof/birth certificate of the child will be checked. Aviation reserves the right to reshuffle the dates/timings or Dham order visit. There can be long delays due to bad weather, Flying Clearance, Technical issues, refuelling, etc.

Day 1 Dehradun-Arrival

On arrival at the Dehradun Airport or Railway station you will be welcomed and escorted till the Hotel.

Rest of the day at lesiure.

In Evening the Aviation team will visit you for the briefing and will instruct you about Guidelines and laws to be followed while travelling and visiting the temples.

Day 2 Dehradun-Yamunotri

Dehradun-Yamunotri

You will be dropped till helipad on Sahastradhara Road and board your helicopter for Yamunotri.

This is our first destination of the revered yatra. Our pilots and ground staff will brief the passengers about the entire trip and do’s and don’ts.

Upon arrival at Kharsali (The helipad for Yamunotri) you are welcomed by ground staff, who will unload your baggage and carry them to your hotel.

You will then be carried by palkis to Yamunotri temple. This trek from helipad to temple is 5.5kms

and return trip by palki takes 5.5 hours.

YAMUNOTRI TEMPLE: Maharani Gularia of Jaipur built the Yamunotri temple in the 19th Century. It was destroyed twice in the present century and rebuilt again. At Surya Kund there are number of thermal springs, the most important of these is Surya Kund. DivyaShila is a rock pillar worshipped before entering the Yamunotri Temple.

After returning to the resort for lunch, one can relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Day 3 Yamunotri-Gangotri

After breakfast at the resort one has to leave for Kharsali helipad for flight to Gangotri.

At Harsil you will be received by representative who will off load your luggage and take them to your resort- Passengers are advised to leave straight for temple in the car and return to resort by lunch time. The temple is 22kms from the helipad and the drive by car takes 45min to 1 hour depending on traffic. We will offer Innova/Xylo car for this drive.

Gangotri Temple: This is a 18th Century temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga. It is located near a sacred stone where king Bhagirathi worshipped Lord Shiva Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. Accordingly to another legend, Pandavas performed the great "Deva Yagna" here to atone the death of their kinsmen in the epic battle of Mahabharata. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite. Gangotri Temple, which was constructed by the Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th Century, is situated on the right bank of Bhagirathi.

After the temple visit, one can return to your resort for lunch. Rest of the afternoon is at one’s leisure to explore the pristine surroundings or visit the nearby village of Bagori where you can get exquisite handmade woolen items made or pure sheep wool by tribal women residing in this village.

Day 4 Gangotri-Kedarnath

After breakfast at Harsil you will fly to Kedarnath. Due to Government regulation, you will have to change helicopter at Guptkashi/Phata/Sersi and take another helicopter from the same helipad for Kedarnath.

We will offer VIP darshan at Kedarnath temple so that our passengers can avoid the long queue and finish darshan quickly. Any other special puja at Kedarnath can be booked at the local temple committee office although the cost for this will be paid directly by the passengers.

KEDARNATH TEMPLE: The present temple built in 8th Century A.D. by Adi Guru Shankaracharya lies adjacent to the site of an ancient temple built by Pandavas. The temple has a conical lingam - the main idol, a statue of Nandi - the celestial bull, a ’GarbaGrah’ for worship and a mandap for assemblies of pilgrims and visitors.

Day 5 Kedarnath-Badrinath

After breakfast board your helicopter to fly to Badrinath, the 4th Dham of your Char DhamYatra.

Upon reaching Badrinath helipad, you will be escorted to your hotel. Passengers are fee to visit the temple immediately after landing or take rest and go for darshan in the evening.

BADRINATH TEMPLE: Cradled in the twin mountain ranges of Nar and Narayan is the holiest of the four main shrines - Badrinath situated along the left bank of river Alaknanda with the towering Neelkantha Peaks as the splendid backdrop. Once the spot was carpeted with ’badris’ or wild berries and hence was famous as Badri van. Legend has it, when the Ganga was requested to descend to earth to help suffering humanity; the earth was unable to withstand the force of its decent. Therefore the mighty Ganga was split into 12 holy channels. Alaknanda was one of them that later became the abode of Lord Vishnu or Badrinath.

Day 6 Badrinath-Dehradun

Next day early morning at 4am you can opt for Maha Abhishek Puja on EXTRA PAYMENT basis. Here people get the opportunity to remain inside the grabhgrah or sanctum sanctorum for almost 2 hours and see the entire Shringar process of the deity.

Return to hotel for breakfast, followed by a drive to the helipad for your flight to Dehradun.

On arrival in Dehradun collect your baggage and you will be dropped at the Dehradun Airport/Railway station of your choice.

Its recommended to book Flight of Next day or late Night as due to weather challenge the Helicopter can land Dehardun late Evening.
