Itinerary of your trip Perú Mágico: Aventura Para Todos

  • Day 1 Arrival in Cusco
    • 7:00 am - 10:30 pm

      Arrival in Cusco

The experience begins with your arrival at Alejandro Velasco Astete International Airport in Cusco (CUZ), where a tour representative will be waiting to take you to your hotel. It is crucial that you provide information about your arrival and departure flights to Cusco (date, time, airline) at least 30 days before the start of your experience. You can share this information through the chat located within your Local Adventures account.

Check-in at the hotel begins at 11:00 am. We also recommend arriving in the morning to acclimatize your body.

Depending on the arrival time, you may have the afternoon free to explore on your own some of the nearest and most iconic places in Cusco, such as the Historic Center, the Cathedral, the Plaza de Armas, the Church of San Blas, among others.

      Meals: No.

Accommodation: Ayni Cusco Hotel or similar (3 stars) in Cusco - Private room (single or double bed).

      Note: Itinerary timings are approximate.

  • Day 2 Cusco - Saqsayhuaman - Qenqo - Tambomachay - Aguas Calientes
    • 7:00 am - 1:30 pm

Cusco - Saqsayhuaman - Qenqo - Tambomachay - Aguas Calientes

You start the day with breakfast at the hotel before visiting Saqsayhuaman, an important structure of megalithic stones that represented an Inca "Ceremonial Fortress." Its name in Quechua can be translated as "place where the falcon is satisfied."

You then continue to the Temple of the Moon "Qenqo," a sacred and beautiful place dedicated to the mother Kila or moon, the God Inti (sun), and the stars. It was used by the Incas for performing sacrifices, especially during the nights of the new and full moon.

You finish the cultural tour of Cusco with a visit to Tambomachay, "Baths of the Inca," an archaeological site dedicated to water. It consists of a series of aqueducts and channels made of carved stone through which water flows.

  • Day 3 Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Ollantaytambo - Cusco
    • 6:00 am - 11:30 am

Aguas Calientes - Machu Picchu - Ollantaytambo - Cusco

You start your day early, enjoying a delicious breakfast with the authentic flavors of the region before boarding the bus that will take you to Machu Picchu, a journey of approximately half an hour.

You have your entrance to the impressive Inca citadel at approximately 7:00 am (Circuit 2 + Llaqta Machupicchu). Likewise, you marvel at one of the most spectacular sunrises amidst the majestic mountains of the Peruvian Andes.

The famous historic sanctuary of Machu Picchu is a magical place, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the seven wonders of the world.

This site gives you the opportunity to immerse yourself in its stunning architectural features while enjoying a spectacular landscape. You can capture the most memorable moments with your photos, and perhaps encounter llamas during your journey.

You can access Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu Mountain (not included, with an additional cost on-site).
