A KANTU PERU TOURS representative will be waiting for you at the airport to accompany you to your hotel in Cusco. During this time, essential information about Cusco will be provided. Once you have completed check-in at the hotel, we recommend taking some time to rest and enjoy a light meal before embarking on our City Tour.

Between approximately 12:30 and 13:00 p.m., our representative will pick you up at your hotel to begin this incredible trip through Cusco. The adventure begins with the exploration of this notable city, starting with a visit to the Cathedral, considered the most important temple in current Cusco. We will then proceed to Qoricancha, the Temple of the Sun, which had immense importance during the Inca era. As part of this incredible experience, you will also visit the impressive Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, an architectural marvel that defies the imagination as a testament to human ingenuity.

Finally, the tour will take you to Q’enqo, the temple of the Puma, Tambomachay, the water temple and Puca Pucara, the Red fortress. The tour will conclude around 18:30 p.m., in the city center.

Continuing on this extraordinary 7-day trip, we will begin exploring the Sacred Valley and head towards the charming town of Aguas Calientes to spend the night.

At approximately 8:00 a.m., our representative will pick you up from his hotel (We suggest you bring a small luggage with the necessary belongings for one night). The first stop will be at the Sacred Valley viewpoint, where you can enjoy impressive and beautiful views of this unique place.

Then, we will continue the adventure arriving at the Inca site of Pisac. Here, our tour guide will give you detailed explanations about this great Inca city. Later our transportation will take us to the city of Urubamba, known as the capital of the Sacred Valley, where we will enjoy an Inca buffet lunch in a tourist restaurant. After lunch, we will go by bus for approximately 30 minutes until we reach the town of Ollantaytambo. Here we will visit impressive buildings such as the Temple of the Sun.

Then, we will continue the adventure arriving at the Inca site of Pisac. Here, our tour guide will provide you with detailed explanations about this great Inca city. In the afternoon our team will leave you at the train station in Ollantaytambo, we will wait a reasonable amount of time to take the train, we will travel for approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, at the Aguas Calientes train station part of our team will be waiting to take you to the hotel , at night at approximately 20 p.m. Our local Machupicchu guide will contact you to give you more information about the tour in Machupicchu.

Day 3 Day 3: Tour In Machu Picchu

Day 3: Tour In Machu Picchu

Experience the wonder of Machu Picchu after a delicious breakfast. In the morning we will go to the bus station for a trip of approximately 30 minutes to the entrance gate to Machupicchu. It is important to bring your original passport to pass Machu Picchu Control and enjoy this incomparable experience.

Enjoy the classic first look at Machu Picchu, keeping in mind that, due to regulations, there is no possibility of revisiting it. Therefore, this will be your initial and indelible vision of the site. After this impressive moment, you will be ready to embark on the guided tour. Our experienced guide will guide you through the highlights, including the main square, the sundial, and the Temple of the Condor.

At the end of the tour, the guide will give you instructions to get to the train station. Afterwards, you will take the bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you can enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants (at your own expense). After lunch, you will head to the train station, making sure to arrive 30 minutes early to avoid delays.

In the afternoon we will board the train back to the town of Ollantaytambo according to the designated departure time. Our representative will be waiting for you and will accompany you back to the city of Cusco, with estimated arrival between 20:00 and 22:00 p.m.

Day 4 Day 4: Maras Moray And Salinas

Day 4: Maras Moray And Salinas

Today, the adventure will continue exploring new highlands visiting the Sat Mines Of Maras and the circular terraces considered like a laboratory of the Incas.

At approximately 8:00 am, our representative will pick you up from your hotel. You will be taken through outstanding landscapes at the Chinchero Highlands. After 45 minutes you get to this colorful town called Chinchero, where you will enjoy the weaving demonstration by the local farmers. after 30 minutes of driving, we will visit this incredible agricultural laboratory called Moray. Along the way to the Salt Mines of Maras, you will delight in the biggest barley farmlands.

The last destination before returning to Cusco will be the impressive Maras Salt Mine, a salty spring that feeds miles of small pools. The process to obtain salt is carried out through evaporation. After enjoying all these Inca places, you will return to the city of Cusco around 14:00 p.m. Approximately, the tour will end in the center of the city.

Day 5 Day 5: Rainbow Mountain

Day 5: Rainbow Mountain

We will pick you up from your hotel at approximately 4:00 in the morning to begin our exciting adventure to Rainbow Mountain. We will take a 3.5-hour trip in our comfortable tourist transportation, we will pass through impressive landscapes, and canyons and admire beautiful glaciers such as Ausangate.

Upon arriving at the community of Cusipata (4,326 m / 14,189 ft), we will enjoy a delicious breakfast before beginning our hike. We will take a walk of approximately 2 hours, we will witness the magnificence of the nature that surrounds us. Our destination, Rainbow Mountain (5,020m / 16,466 feet), will welcome us to delight in its beauty, take photographs, enjoy a snack or simply relax.

After enjoying the color of the mountain, we will begin the walk back to the community of Cusipata, where a delicious buffet lunch awaits us. Later we will return to the imperial city of Cusco.

We will arrive in Cusco at approximately 16:30 p.m. Our transportation will leave us in the city center.

Day 6 Day 6: Humantay Lake

Enjoy your vacation in Peru to the fullest by exploring new destinations in the Andes from Cusco, with a fascinating visit to Lake Turquesa. The 7-day adventure, Cusco Machu Picchu, begins at 4 a.m. approximately. The reason for getting up early is that the journey to the lake takes approximately 3 hours. Along the way, we will make a stop in the town of Mollepata to enjoy a delicious breakfast and stock up on snacks and water. Then, we will continue along the road for 45 minutes until we reach the town of Soraypampa, the starting point of our walk.

The excursion to Lake Humantay begins with a brief explanation by the tour leader. Once everyone is ready, we will begin the approximately 2 hour uphill climb to reach this incredible turquoise lake. If you prefer, you have the option of renting a horse to Humantay Lagoon.

Upon arriving at this wonderful place, you will be rewarded with the impressive views of the Glacier and the landscapes that surround Lake Humantay. Our tour guide will give you information about these amazing places, and then you will have time to experience and enjoy this turquoise lake.

After exploring on our own, we will descend to catch our transportation, including lunch. Finally we will arrive in Cusco at approximately 18:30 p.m., the tourist transportation will leave us in the center of the city.
