      Pick up from your hotel in Colombo, Mount Lvinia, Negombo, Kandy, Dambulla or from BIA Airport and driven to Trincomalee.  Spend overnight at a 3* hotel in Trincomalee. Your Stay is on Bed & Breakfast Basis.

      Day 2: Trincomalee - Trincomalee

      After breakfast, you will do a boat ride to Pigeon Island. One of the two marine national parks of Sri Lanka. The island gets its name from Blue Rock Pigeon, a native endangered bird who lives within the rocks in these islands. The islands were declared a sanctuary in 1963 for the purpose of protecting these birds. In 2003 this area was upgraded to the status of a National Park and the boundaries were extended to include coral reef around them. The national Park has one of the best remaining coral reefs with the high live coral cover in the country and is an ideal location for scuba diving and snorkeling. Spend the afternoon at leisure, enjoying the hotel facilities.  Spend overnight at a 3* hotel in Trincomalee. Your Stay is on Bed & Breakfast Basis.

      After breakfast, you will be transferred to Trincomalee to enjoy a city tour. Trincomalee is one of the major sea ports in the world. Fort Fredrick, also known as Trincomalee Fort, Koneswaram Temple, earlier knows as the temple of thousand Pillars and loverโ€™s leap are the major attractions covered in this city tour in addition to fish and vegetable markets. According to historical information, Portuguese had demolished the old Koneswaram Temple and they build this fort with the parts of that. Occupying the neck of a narrow peninsula, Trincomalee Fort (Fort Fredrick) has been a defensively important site for centuries. The Lover's Leap is also located near Koneswaram Temple and gives the viewers a breathtaking and thrilling scenic view.  Spend overnight at a 3* hotel in Trincomalee.
