Itinerary of your trip 3-Day Luxury Glamping In Yala National Park

  • Day 1 Day 1: Colombo - Yala
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 1: Colombo - Yala

      7:30: You will be picked up from your hotel in Colombo or any other selected location (See the departure point) and driven approximately 5 hours to reach Tissamaharama  12:30: Upon arrival at Tissamaharama, you will be collected by the Leopard nest jeep and driven to Leopard Nest.  13:00: Arrive at the Leopard Nest campsite and check in to one of the nests in the campsite followed by a short introduction by the camp manager on everything you need to know about the campsite.  13:00-14:30: Enjoy Lunch at the main restaurant in the campsite or at one of many outdoor locations available in the campsite. After lunch you can relax and unwind by taking a nap in the hammock or checking books about wildlife in the library.  15:00: You will start your evening game drive at Yala National park to experience the wildlife treasure in one of the best homes for Leopards and other animals in Asia.  18:30: Arrive at the Campsite and enjoy your private Alfresco shower followed by drinks and appetizers around the campfire.  21:00 Dinner will be served at one of many locations available through the camp. Dine under the stars for an unforgettable evening meal in the jungle experience.  Stay overnight at Leopard Nest. 

  • Day 2 Day 2: Yala - Yala
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 2: Yala - Yala

      Wake up around 5:00 am to freshly brewed Ceylon tea or coffee. Leave the campsite at 05:30 am and start to trek through thick bushes with a pathway access to a wonderful lake which offers breath-taking views and bird watching opportunities. If you are fortunate enough, you will encounter wildlife like elephants; Deers; palm squirrels; wild boars; etc. Also, you will confront both endemic and migratory birds; butterflies and lizards and land monitors slithering around the lake. Capture the splendid views of wildlife and nature to take back home. Donโ€™t forget to ask your naturalist to share his adventures in the wild during the trek. Enjoy breakfast at a private location by a lake whilst listening to the singing of birds and feeling the fresh breeze. Return from the nature trail and check-into the campsite. You can relax and enjoy the facilities and surrounding of Leopard Nest or read a wildlife book from the library. 13:00 - 14:00 Enjoy Lunch at the main restaurant in the campsite or at one of many outdoor locations available in the campsite. 14:30: You will be taken to do a memorable game drive at Bundala National Park that is famous for birds. For keen bird-watchers, the complex wetland system harbours a rich bird life (approximately 197 species), including several species of migratory waterfowl. This has led to the declaration of the park as Sri Lanka 's first โ€˜Ramsar' wetland โ€“ one of great international importance especially for migratory waterfowl. 19:00: Arrive at the Campsite and enjoy your private Alfresco shower followed by drinks and appetizers around the campfire. 21:00 Dinner will be served at one of many locations available through the camp. Dine under the stars for an unforgettable evening meal in the jungle experience. Stay overnight at Leopard Nest.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Yala - Colombo
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 3: Yala - Colombo

      Wake up at dawn around 5:00am to freshly brewed Ceylon tea or coffee. Then leave on morning game drive at 5:30am. Return from morning game drive at 9-10am to freshly squeezed juices from seasonal fruits followed by breakfast. You will check out at 11:00am and be transferred back to your hotel.
