      Day 1: Colombo - Bentota

      On arrival at the Bandaranaike International airport, you will be warmly greeted by your very own chauffeur Guide with Orchid Garlands and then transferred to Bentota. (Approx. 2 hrs. drive). On arrival at the hotel, you will be served with a welcome drink & Escorted you to Flower decorated room.

      Spend full day leisure at Bentota beach. 

      Bentota beach is one of the major exotic beaches in Sri Lanka. It is a rich tourist destination which meets clientsโ€™ expectations for Ayurveda treatments and other health and beauty treatments. Not only relaxing here is a prominent place offer watersport including swimming, water skiing on the rivers or estuaries, snorkeling, scuba diving, windsurfing, parasailing, and fishing.

      After breakfast you will do a guided trekking in Sinharaja rainforest. Sinharaja rain forest is a UNESCO world heritage site. This Tropical Wet Evergreen Forest is undoubtedly a rich treasure trove of nature with a great diversity of habitats and a vast repository of endemic species. Bird Watching in this ecosystem is particularly interesting because it is home to 95% of the endemic birds of Sri Lanka. This lowland evergreen rain forest is steeped in deep legend and mystery. The word โ€™Sinharajaโ€™ means, Lion (Sinha) King (Raja), and it is popular belief that the legendary origin of the Sinhala people is the union between a princess and the lion king who once lived in the forest. You will be privileged to learn of geology, plant lives & animal lives during the trekking with a naturalist.

      After a good night sleep and breakfast, journey to the lush jungle and into the verdant green of Sri Lankaโ€™s one of the most beautiful regions โ€“ Belihul Oya On arrival, checkโ€”into your hotel in Belihul Oya & enjoy the surrounding of the hotel and spend couple of hours at leisure. Late afternoon, start a walking trail in the village of Belihuloya with your guide. You will walk through beautiful paddy fields and the friendly welcoming breeze that blow through. (Unpaved muddy path and possible leech bites can be expected). Meet the villagers here, peep into their lives and learn their living style and also you can have a chat with them enjoying a snack. Donโ€™t forget to take pictures of the beautiful scenery! Arrive back at your hotel refresh with worm water shower before enjoying your BBQ dinner at one of the outside dining locations in the property under the stars.       Wake up early in the morning and experience the sunshine over the mountains whilst discovering the wonder of nature surrounded by the hotel. After breakfast, your guide will take you through another memorable walking trail to a waterfall in the property premises. Tranquil dip in this natural rock pool. No harsh chemicals, just you, pure mountain water and natural stone. This is a marvelous creation of nature! (Involves a somewhat adventurous, challenging short climb walks) Spend rest of the day enjoying the chalet facilities. You can go to the birds Nest setup on the tree with your loved ones and witness the breath-taking views around and have a chat. Late evening you can engage in star glazing with a high powered Telescope. This event you can convert into a challenging game with your partner to witness and identify the star patterns in the sky.   • Day 8 Day 8: Belihuloya - Ella

      Day 8: Belihuloya - Ella

      After an early breakfast, you will be driven to Ella - what promises to be a fairy tale-like honeymoon experience

      On arrival you will do a guided tour to visit 9 arch bridge by tuk-tuk. Located between Ella and Demodara railway stations, the nine-arch bridge is one of the most iconic bridges in Sri Lanka. This 99 feet high massive bridge has been built entirely of solid rocks, bricks, and cement without using a single piece of steel. When one stands underneath it and looks up there is a beautiful sight of โ€˜nine skiesโ€™ through the nine arches, hence it is also called as โ€œNine skies bridgeโ€ and โ€œThe Bridge in the skyโ€. Guards allow you to walk along the rails and enjoy the beauty of the surrounding environment. You will be so lucky if you get a chance to see a train traveling over the bridge. Taking a TukTuk ride to this wonderful place is one of the sightseeing activities that a tourist will rarely skip in Ella. 

      Evening you will proceed to do a trekking in Little Adamโ€™s peak. Trekking to Little Adamโ€™s Peak is the most famous tourism activity in Ella. As there is a similarity to the peak of the sacred Adams Peak where the foot print of Lord Buddha is preserved, this was named as the Little Adamโ€™s Peak. You will walk through lush green tea plantations, and paddy fields while enjoying the sceneries. Witness the people who are plucking and collecting tea leaves in their estates. After 45-50 minutes easy hike, you will enjoy the panoramic view of the entire southern plain from the summit.

      After breakfast, you will board the train from Ella Railway for a scenic train journey to Haputhale station. On arrival to Haputale town, start the walk to the Adhisam Bungalow. You will walk by passing the tea plantations, jungles and villages who are selling the strawberries long the way. Adisham is a monastery run by Benedictine Monks. It is also named as St. Benedictโ€™s monastery. The pages of history reveal that the creator of this enthralling place is Sir Thomas Lister Villiers. Sir Thomas was born in 1869 in Adisham, an ancient village which lies in the hollow of the Kent country side. Wrapped in the tranquility of the misty hills, Adisham Bungalow attracts every eye that falls on it. In the afternoon, you will be walk back to Haputale station for your ride back to Ella. 

      Late evening, you will be able to enjoy a candle lit dinner in an outside location.

      Today after breakfast you will be driven to Nuwara Eliya. 

      Spend the Afternoon enjoying sightseeing in Nuwara Eliya. Known as Little England, the town of Nuwara Eliya enjoys spring-like weather throughout the year. A favorite retreat of the British during colonial times, the town is dotted with English country style houses and half-timbered bungalows. During this tour you will visit Victoria Park, Gregory Lake, 19th century Golf Club and drive around the city. 

      Late evening, you will be driven to Calamander Gregory Lake Hotel to enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner by Gregory Lake.

  • Day 11 Day 11: Nuwara Eliya - Kandy

      After breakfast, add a splash of colours to your honeymoon with a trip to the unique hill capital of Kandy. En route you can visit a Tea Factory and Tea Plantation at Labookellie where you may also have an opportunity of tasting a factory freshly brewed cup of tea. 

      Afternoon, you will be able to enjoy a TukTuk Challenge. Doing a city tour by a TukTuk is the most interesting and easiest way to enjoy the sightseeing in the historical city of Kandy. Kandy, also Known as the hill capital or Hill country, is the last stronghold of Sinhalese kings after Portuguese, Dutch and British ruling periods. To the Buddhists of Sri Lanka and the World, Kandy is one of the most sacred sites as it is the home of the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic of Lord Buddha. The Bahirawakanda Buddha stature that is known as big Buddha is one of the most scenic places in the city. This tour covers both these historical temples and reach Kandy Lake. The Kandy Lake that was built by king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1807 is one of the major highlights in the city. Doing an upper lake drive by a TukTuk is a scenic and memorable ride. Today Kandy is the center of Buddhism, Arts, Crafts, Dancing, Music and Culture. At the end of the tour you can witness a cultural show in one of the many theaters available in the Kandy city.

      Today after breakfast you will experience a special elephant encounter which is Suitable for those who really value & care about the largest Land mammal on the earth. This is your chance to get a memorable impression of a day in the life of lucky Sri Lankan captive elephants who are not being used for working nor riding. Starting from 8.30am to 4.30 pm you can spend the whole day only loving and caring the elephants. Your day starts with being welcomed by the local Sri Lankan family or coordinator in their beautiful house with a nice cup of tea. You will enjoy washing, feeding and taking the photographs with Elephant. You day will be so memorable as you can enjoy an authentic Sri Lankan cooking lesson by the local family followed by a Sri Lankan Lunch.

      Afternoon visit Royal botanical garden in Peradeniya. Located at the edge of Mahaweli river, Peradeniya Royal botanical garden was started as a pleasure garden in the British colonial era. Today it is renowned for bundles of varieties of plants including orchids, spices, medicinal plants and palm trees. A map is not required, just wander through the paths of green lawns. You will witness the flower arches which are waiting to welcome you! Donโ€™t by-pass the giant Javan tree, which is a nice place to have a sit & take a snap! The suspension bridge is also a highlight in this garden & you can walk on it too. Itโ€™s not a surprise that this flourishing garden will leave sweet memories for you.

      Late evening, you will be able to enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner in an outside location at your hotel in Kandy.
