Drive To Chitwan & Jungle Activities In Chitwan National Park

The Muglin Highway connects Chitwan to Kathmandu, which is located 196 kilometers away. Along the banks of the Trishuli River, the drive passes through picturesque countryside and terraced ricefields. After arriving at the park entrance, visitors are greeted by naturalists and Wildlife Resort representatives. They are then driven by landrovers, canoes, and elephants to the Wildlife Resort, which is located inside the Royal Chitwan National Park.

The managers of the resort will assign the rooms and tents and brief the guests on the various activities offered by the resort.

In the late afternoon, a jungle safari atop an elephant is arranged to explore Chitwanโ€™s temperate forest to observe and capture images of the local flora, fauna, and wildlife. More than 400 different species of birds, as well as various reptiles and smaller mammals, can be found in the Royal Chitwan National Park, which is also home to the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger, sloth bears, wild boars, gaurs (bison), four different kinds of deer, two different kinds of monkeys, two different kinds of crocodiles, leopards, and more.

In the evening, the well stocked bar caters to the needs of the thirsty and a hearty meal of continental or Nepalese cuisine will be served in the evening around the campfire.

Overnight at the Resort in Chitwan.

Full-Day Jungle Activities In Chitwan National Park

Tea or coffee in the early morning, followed by an elephant ride or a jungle walk to see the animals in their predawn slumber. As we silently glide through the tall, dewy elephant grass (18โ€“20 feet tall), which serves as a habitat for tigers, rhinos, and other wild animals, now is the best time of day to see the animals. Invest two to three hours. in the jungle before going back to the camp to have breakfast. Visit the elephant stables in the late morning to hear from experienced naturalists about elephants directly. The unusual sight of elephants taking a bath can be seen here. The afternoon is free for a well-earned midafternoon nap or a trip to the library for general information about the national park following a filling lunch at the camp. Participants can choose from a variety of activities offered by the camp in the late afternoon, such as guided nature walks and bird watching excursions, canoe rides or floats, and Land Rover jungle drives to various lakes within the National Park. Sip drinks and tell stories to the camp staff and other customers while enjoying a relaxed evening at the round house. After a delicious meal, head to bed with plans to go on more adventures the next day.
