  • Day 1 Day 1: Chisapani
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 1: Chisapani

      An early morning drive from Kathmandu to Sundarijal takes around one hour. The trek starts from this beautiful place with clear streams and lush forests to accompany us for a while as we walk through the Shivapuri Watershed and Wildlife Reserve. Mulkharka, the first settlement we come through is inhabited by Tamang community. Forests of oak and Rhododendron cover the trail that passes through a ridge leading to Chisapani. Overnight stay at a Guest house.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Nagarkot
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 2: Nagarkot

      After observing mesmeric views of the Himalayas, we continue on our trek to Nagarkot. ChaukiBhanjyang is a three hours walk, and our first resting point for the day. Along beautiful forests and grasslands, we walk for a few more hours and reach the viewpoint of Nagarkot after climbing a strenuous hill. From Everest in the east to Dhaulagiri in the west, mountain views from Nagarkot attracts many locals and foreigners alike. Overnight stay in a hotel.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Dhulikhel
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 3: Dhulikhel

      The trail first descends from the Nagarkot hill and slowly ascends, the sequence continues throughout the journey. Terraced fields mostly with corn plantations can be seen in places with small settlements. Halfway across the trail, we climb a hill with stone steps leading to the top, the view gets better. Settlements thicken as we descent from the top. Soon, trail to Nala and Banepa pass by and as we move further, the small town of Dhulikhel can be beautifully captured in a photograph.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Kathmandu

      Day 4: Kathmandu

      We take an early morning hike from Dhulikhel to the sacred stupa of Namo Buddha. The site is decorated with splendid sculptures and thanka art. ThranguTashiYangtse Monastery, though newly constructed attracts lots of visitors with its unique architecture and location. The route to Panautipasses through local villages, orange yards and beautiful terraces of rice fields. This age old settlement of the Newars preserves traditional architecture of the town gives a feeling of walking into some different era in the history. Panauti also marks the end of our short trek, and we take a short drive back to Kathmandu to enjoy an evening dinner in a traditional Nepali restaurant.
