Visit the world famous Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City this morning. To avoid the cheap tourist restaurant as the most are doing now, we specially serve you an a la carte lunch (valued at CNY150.00 per person and included in our price) at a very decent restaurant, where you can have a taste of authentic Chinese food and the most famous Peking Roast Duck. In the afternoon, visit the Yonghe Temple and the Temple of Heaven. The evening will be highlighted by a lively Peking Opera show in Liyuan Theatre.

Today’s highlight is to visit Mutianyu Great Wall. The round-trip cable car is included. We will specially provide red wine for a group-toasting on the Great Wall. It may be the best that you have a big breakfast at the hotel and have some fast food for lunch by yourself. Our guide will show you some restaurants.

In the afternoon, we’ll stop before Olympic National Stadium (Bird’s Nest), for you to record this moment with pictures. Then head to the Hutong area, where a Hutong tour by rickshaw is scheduled. Hutongs are narrow lanes flanked by residential “Siheyuans”, or traditional Chinese courtyard houses. The 700-year-old area is like a long library dedicated to exhibiting traditional lifestyles and cultures of common Beijing people.

This morning’s excursion will first cover the Beijing Zoo, for you to watch Chinese giant pandas eating and playing. Then we’ll continue to visit the Summer Palace, the largest existing royal garden in China, featuring antique buildings and charming landscape. Have some local food for lunch, and an afternoon flight will take you to the second destination, Xi’an. Upon landing, your local guide and driver will meet you at the airport and take you to the hotel.

After breakfast, you’ll be escorted to the Terracotta Army, an amazing underground project built more than 2,200 years ago. They are none other than the funeral objects of the legendary mausoleum of Emperor Qin Shi Huang (259 - 210 BC), the founder of the first empire in China’s history.

Then we’ll visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, part of the Buddhist architectural heritage of the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907 AD). A splendid evening is in store when you will be entertained by the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show when partaking of the famous Dumpling Dinner. Dinner Show is available from April to November.

The day begins with a leisure visit to the City Wall Park, where you can observe the day-to-day life of the locals and learn to practice Tai Chi with the master. Your lunch time will be spent at the Muslim Quarter, tasting authentic local food with Muslim flavors, and the Great Mosque is scheduled. In the afternoon, you will explore the Shaanxi History Museum to appreciate the varied objects from the Tang Dynasty.

Appreciate the Li River scenery by cruising down from Guilin to Yangshuo. Disembark at Yangshuo in about 4.5 hours and walk along the famous West Street. After that, you will be driven to the countryside of Yangshuo to soak up the amazing rural views and pay a visit to a local villager’s home. Finally, we will drive you back to Guilin.
