      El Frutillar We start our trip by visiting the city of Llanquihue, famous for its traditional and tasty sausages. This area is part of the ancient Route of the Settlers and is the place where the Maullin River is born. During the tour around the city, we will visit the German Colonists Memorial and then head towards the Frutillar city. This city is a beautiful village that recalls the old Bavaria, from where the first colonizers arrived. In 1856 Frutillar was just a boarding pier, soon appeared tanneries, mills, and breweries that brought the region to life. We will walk around the beautiful old houses of German style, admiring the gardens and the incomparable views of the Osorno and Puntiagudo volcanoes framing the city.  As an option, passengers can go to the German Colonial Museum which portrays the life of the settlers, and at the lakeshore (tickets not included) observe the Teatro del Lago (Lake Theatre) that yearly presents the famous Frutillar Musical Week, a Summer Festival of classic music from Chile and abroad.  Overnight in Puerto Varas.

Sail on Lake Grey to admire the eponymous glacier, or paddle a kayak through its colossal blue and white icebergs. Youโ€™ll enjoy terrific wildlife-watching in Torres del Paine. See majestic condors wheeling in the pristine skies overhead. Look out for foxes, huemul or Andean deer and guanacos along the way, and if you lie in wait patiently, you might be lucky enough to spot the reclusive puma.  Overnight in Torres del Paine.  Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Our tour through Santiago will show the immensity of the city, its varied geography, and civility. We will guide you through Plaza de Armas, the main square of Santiago, where the cathedral, main post office, and city hall are located. You will be told about the origins of our city. The next stop is the civic neighborhood and the surroundings of La Moneda government palace. After that we ฬll drive through some of the old neighborhoods of Santiago, like Republica and Concha y Toro, Later we will visit the eastern part of the city and weโ€™ll see the modern buildings and the changes that they have brought to the neighborhood.  Overnight in Santiago.

      The Moon Valley is well known for its amazing geological stone formations of extraordinary beauty. Located in the Cordillera de la Sal, it represents an extraordinary attraction because of its resemblance to the moon ฬs surface and its enormous natural coliseum.  We will depart from your Hotel in San Pedro and head to the Cordillera de la Sal (Salt Mountain Range), very rich in minerals. We will first arrive at Valle de la Muerte (Death Valley), a mountainous and sandy site with a particular geographical beauty. Itโ€™s salt formations look like sculptures and works of art.  We will then continue to Valle de la Luna (Moon Valley), a small depression of the saline ground, containing several small, sharp-crested hills where once there used to be a lake. This unique place is famous for its natural mineral sculptures, one of them is Las Tres Marรญas formed by wind erosion. It truly resembles a lunar setting. There are also caves and mineral deposits of stone very similar to quartz. We will end the tour by admiring the sunset from La Gran Duna (The Great Dune) with its majestic display of colors.  Overnight in San Pedro de Atacama.

      Today you will depart from the hotel towards Rano Kao Volcano. This fascinating deep crater holds a lake of freshwater entirely covered with totora (large reed). Located on the top of the crater we find Orongo, the center where each year the Tangata Manu or Bird Man ceremony is celebrated. These festivities currently take place during summer. More than 100 petroglyphs representing the God Make Make, the Tangata Manu, and the Manutara sea bird, among others. We will also visit the Ana Kai Tangata caves, which contain several paintings from previous centuries. We will then depart to the ceremonial platform Ahu Vinapu, well known for its architectural perfection. After the tour finishes, we will head back to the hotel.  Overnight in Easter Island.
