Arrival at International Airport in Cartagena. Meet & greet with the local driver and transfer to the selected hotel. Breakfast at the hotel.  In due time, you will start the City Tour of Cartagena.  To get to know the city better you start with a visit at San Felipe Fort which was built by the Spaniards to protect the rich city of Cartagena against attacks from the mainland. Cartagena was the place, where the looted treasures of the Incas by the Spaniards and the gold and silver treasures from the mines of Peru and Bolivia were stored for shipping to Spain. Thus, the city was repeatedly the object of desire of many pirates. In the labyrinthine corridors of the fortress, you feel transferred back to the pirate’s time. From the fortress, you walk through the colonial Old Town. If desired, you can stop for a cold fruit juice drink or an Arepa with Eggs (Typical Colombia snack). During a walk through the well-preserved old town, visit the important historic buildings and churches. Get an overview of the city and try to orient yourself to be able to walk through the city on your own in the afternoon, go souvenir shopping at the city wall and admire the sunset from the Café del Mar on the city walls. Breakfast at the hotel.  Las Islas del Rosario are a beautiful archipelago 35 km from the Bay of Cartagena, where you can see another of the faces of Cartagena.  Departing from the pier the Bodeguita takes the boat that will take them to the Rosario Islands and thus enjoy the crystal clear waters of this site, after having another view of the Bay of Cartagena, you can admire the forts of San Fernando and San Joseph. Later, the island of Barú is covered to reach the facilities of La Isla del Encanto. Where you will have free time to enjoy the sea and the facilities, if you wish, you can make dives with tank or snorkel (additional cost) or visit the Oceanarium. Includes:   Transport in boats with capacity of 14,42 and 50 people. Tour guide. Panoramic Tour through the Corales del Rosario Archipelago, leaving Isla del Encanto and arriving at the Island of San Martin de Pajarales (where the Oceanarium is) and back to Isla del Encanto at the departure of visitors to the Aquarium. Lunch according to choice, the normal pasadía lunch is buffet style: meat, chicken, fish, cold or hot vegetables, coconut or white rice, pasta, patacones, vegetables, seasonal fruit, accompanied with a soft drink, and a typical sweet of the region.
