  • Day 1 Day 1: Cartagena - Santa Marta

      Day 1: Cartagena - Santa Marta

      Arrival to Cartagena and get transferred to Santa Marta (4 hrs drive) This is the arrival day for all participants in Santa Marta (the Colombian Caribbean Site), upon arrival you will check-in at the Hotel located in the heart of the city. Then you will have a free afternoon to explore the city and its wide beautiful beach on your own pace or just relax and enjoy the sunset from the hotel rooftop. We will have our briefing lead by our Trip Leader at 6:30 pm at the hotel lobby. Activities Included: N/A – Free time Accommodation: Hotel in Santa Marta

  • Day 2 Day 2: Tayrona National Park
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 2: Tayrona National Park

      This will be a medium scale-hiking day (good training for the Lost City). Tayrona Park is located at 45 minutes from Santa Marta by car.  The program includes a 2 hours hike to Cabo San Juan ( 6 km / 3.7miles), visit Arrecife, arenillas, la piscine and San Juan. On arrival, you will have time to take pictures and enjoy the beach with some free time. For the return, you can always get the easy way horse-back ride (USD 15 – one way).  Activities Included: Guided sightseeing/walking/hiking Meals Included: Breakfast Accommodation: Hotel in Santa Marta

  • Day 3 Day 3: Lost City Trek - Alfredo Camp
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 3: Lost City Trek - Alfredo Camp

      It is time to be ready for one of the most incredible and amazing hikes overall South America, it is a hidden place in the middle of La Sierra Nevada mountain range. This is an exciting hike, where you will visit remote areas surrounded by just primary forest and local communities. On this day, we will drive you towards El Mamey Village where we will serve lunch and get the energy to start the first hike up to Alfredo ́s Camp Site. It will be 12 km approx. ( 6.5 miles ) upon arrival, you will get your bed (the type of Campsites in this area are very basic – bunk beds with mosquito nets. So get prepared to live this unique experience ?
