Hygieneprotocol

Guests will be asked to complete a medical declaration and indemnity before every tour. Guests will be sent a full itinerary and special Covid-19 health and safety information before the tour. Be sure to save this on your phone as we will not share hard copies amongst guests on tour anymore. Guests will be asked to bring hand sanitizer on tour and to use it regularly. Vehicles, trailers and any equipment will be cleaned and disinfected between every tour as well as during the tour. We will make every effort to have hand sanitizer available, but we recommend bringing your own. Guests will be asked to bring a mask on tour and to use it. Tour Guides and travellers will be required to wear cloth face masks while on tour (in the vehicle or in public for travel) during the COVID-19 pandemic. Guide's, driversโ€™ and travellers' temperatures will be checked daily to ensure all are fit for travel during the pandemic. If travellers have a fever or any other COVID-19 related symptoms while on tour, the travellers may be required to have a doctor clear them before rejoining the tour. Guests will be asked to report to their guide if they feel unwell, so that the guide can assist with getting you appropriate medical attention. Vehicles are filled at reduced capacity depending on tour/distance travelled. Tour group size and social distancing will be monitored. Some establishments might have different protocols, please respect and adhere to these.

  • Day 1 Day 1: Cape Town: Ultimate Cape Point Tour

      Day 1: Cape Town: Ultimate Cape Point Tour

      After being picked up from your accommodation, we begin the morning with a leisurely stroll along the cobbled streets and brightly coloured houses of the Bo Kaap where you have the opportunity to take some pictures.  We then head through the exclusive seaside suburbs of Clifton and Campsbay where we have a short photo stop too.  We carry on along Victoria drive, through Houtbay and along the scenic Chapmans Peak Drive eventually arriving at The Cape of Good hope Nature Reserve where we have a 40 minute hike from the most south west tip of Africa, Cape of Good Hope to the Cape Point Light House. We then start driving north to Boulder Beach Penguin colony, where you can view them from the boardwalk and, should you wish, go inside to view them even closer (optional extra). By this stage you would have built up quite an appetite so we will stop for lunch (own account). After everyone has had their fill, we stop briefly at the Shark Spotter, entrusted by the local surfers of Muizenberg to look out for Great White Sharks.  We continue to travel through the lush Constantia Valley to the oldest wine farm outside of Europe for a relaxing end of the day wine tasting experience (optional extra) where we also learn about the history of farming in the Cape in beautiful surroundings before we drop you off at your accommodation in Cape Town.   Meals: NULL Accommodation: Backpacker - Cape Town Included Highlight: Camps Bay, Hout Bay, Chapmans Peak, Cape Point, Cape of Good hope, Boulders Beach (from boardwalk), Boyes Drive Optional Activities: Wine Tasting, Boulders Beach Entrance

      Day 2: Cape Town To Sedgefield: Safari & Elephant Bush Walk

      We depart the Mother City in the morning and drive out towards the gorgeous Garden Route. We start the day with a morning Safari at a Private Game Reserve in search of lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo and many more wild animals.  We then make our way to another Private Game Reserve, Indalu, where you will have the opportunity to join for an optional Elephant Bush Walk.  Indalu, the Xhosa word for โ€˜natureโ€™, is set between the roaming hills and valleys and has been created as a sanctuary for a number of the gentle giants where they roam free in their natural environment. We end the day at our accommodation in Sedgefield where you have time to sit back, relax and enjoy the African sunset.       Day 3: Sedgefield To Cape Town Via Route 62 And Oudtshoorn: Klein Karoo, Oudtshoorn, Cango Caves, Route 62

      This morning we head over the Outeniqua Mountains to the Karoo town of Oudtshoorn where we have 2 options to choose from: 1 - You can either choose to explore the wonders of the Cango Caves, one of the largest cave systems in the world, OR  2 - You can visit an Endangered Wildlife Sanctuary, home to many local and exotic endangered species.   After lunch we begin our journey back to Cape Town along the spectacular Route 62. Meals: Breakfast Route: Sedgefield to Cape Town ยฑ600 km Travel time: ยฑ7 hrs Included Highlight: Cango Caves (Adventure or Standard Tour) OR Wildlife Rehabilitation Sanctuary Tour Ends We will drop you off back at your original pick up point in Cape Town unless otherwise requested. There are no set / guaranteed drop off times.  Drop off times can range from late afternoon to early evening and can vary between ยฑ5pm - ยฑ10pm.
